Chapter 103 - Theres something you need to know (2/2)

”Wanwan, there's something you need to know.”

___

Two hours ago, in Tyler's apartment.

Yun Xuan was sitting in bed in a fetal position and hugging her knees.

Tyler was at a loss. ”Darling, you can't be like this forever.” Yun Xuan had been like this ever since she found out about her father's two evil deeds. He really wondered how she would react if she found out half of what her father had done to innocent people. Wouldn't she die of shock?

”You should eat something.” he brought over some congee and coaxed her while feeding her.

”Your father is coming home tomorrow.” he reminded. This was a message she had recieved in the morning and didn't even glance at it.

”I'll ask him.”

”Huh?”

”I'm going to ask him!” she declared. ”How can he be so sinister? I need an explanation.” She pushed him aside and made for her phone.

Tyler forcefully took the phone from her trembling hands. ”Wait, darling don't be rash. Trust me, you.do.not.need.any.explanation.” he gravely emphasized the statement word by word.

”But I really do!”

”No! Wait, listen to me.” he pulled her into his arms. ”No matter how evil your father is, he clearly loves you a lot. He's under the impression that you do not know anything. If you suddenly let him know that you found out his evil schemes and ask for an explanation, don't you think he'd view you as someone who is against him?”

”So you expect me to sit back and watch him play with innocent lives like they mean nothing? He must be brought to justice!” she exploded into tears.

”Yes, he must. I also want him to pay for all his crimes, but you're not the right person to go against him.” He was right. If the only person he cared about was the one to try and expose him, who knew what crazy things he might do in retaliation? ”That, and what power do you have to fight such a person? Do you have any evidence?”

She cried even harder. ”I don't care! We must expose him no matter what. Living with such a sinister maniac, isn't my mother's life in danger?” her assumption was that her mother must know at least one or two things about his evil deeds. She was his wife, of course she must know her husband best. The fact that she had not done anything about it, there were only two options.

Either she did not mind any of it and could even be he accomplice or she was living under a threat.

Her mother was obviously a very gentle person who wouldn't even hurt a fly. Did that mean she was really under a threat?!
