Chapter 104 - Theres something you need to know(2) (1/2)

Her mother was obviously a very gentle person who wouldn't even hurt a fly. Did that mean she was really under a threat?!

”Tyler, I think I realized something.” she said.

Tyler had let go of her and was solemnly staring at his laptop screen. ”I think I realized something too.”

”I'll go first.” she said.

”Okay.”

”My mom has been with dad for very many years. Do you think she knows something, but is only afraid of him? If we talk to her, maybe we can find the evidence we need.”

Tyler pondered over what she just said. ”What I found out may have a direct effect over what you just said.”

”What do you mean?” she looked over.

”Just because someone has a past record of crimes doesn't mean he's the culprit every time something wrong happens.” his tone was of utter shock.

”Can you speak human?”

”I just noted, the two emails Jing Ye recieved...the style is quite different.”

”Tyler, can you speak a language I understand? What are you even saying?”

”I hacked into the bank account and the second email, but left out the first one assuming it was sent by the same person.”

She finally got the gist of it. ”So you're saying, you think it was two different people?”

”Correct.” He looked even more scary. ”Darling, what if we accused the wrong person?”

”What nonesense are you talking about? My dad is a criminal! I heard him swear to kill someone with my own ears.”

”Of course. But just because he's a murderer doesn't necessarily mean every murder was commited by him, right?”

”Can you stop being so strange? It's getting rather annoying.”

”The point is...never mind. I'll hack into this email.” He said as he sat straight and started flying his fingers over the keyboard at rapid speed, leaving behind a trail of complicated codes.

Yun Xuan could only watch from the side and try to make her presence as scarce as possible. Time ticked by in minutes and seconds.

She saw his dejected expression and sensed something was not right. The other email was hacked into by him within less than five minutes. Why was this one taking more than an hour?

She spoke up. ”You found nothing? Why is it taking too long?”

He gave up. ”I found nothing.”

This was the first time she had seen him fail in anything. ”At least it proved a point. They were indeed sent by different people.”

”Not necessarily.”
