18 Chapter 16 Dawn of Moonligh (2/2)

Within a whole minute the girl has gotten knocked out, seeing this Yui made the chains and magic circles disappear and a rope made of light appeared around her hands.

She is now unable to move even if she woke up.

The remaining hostile immortals started feeling scared at what they had just witnessed, causing some of them to retreat.

The others that didn't retreat were just frozen in place from the same fear that the immortals that retreated felt.

”Ah~~~ Looks like you scared them, Yui...”

Kanade said jokingly with a light snicker coming out of her mouth.

Yui didn't say anything, she let out a sigh instead causing her currently red-glowing eyes to revert back to her blue-colored eyes.

'Did I go overboard? I didn't mean for some of them to retreat.'

”Do you still wanna fight?”

With a smile as if mocking her oponents, Yui asked the remaining hostile immortals.

Whispers were then heard on the enemies' side as they heard her question.

They continued the whispers for quite a while, the reinforcements had already arrived before the made the decision which can potentially cause their deaths if they dod any form of wrong actions.

”You can stand down now, Yui. The reinforcements have arrived.”

Hideo announced to the crossed-armed Yui who was waiting for their answers for a while.

This sentence that came from Hideo just makes Yui turn her back on the oponents which are now cornered with looks of fear in their faces from how powerful Yui is now that she has five fox tails.

”Let's go. We're done here girls.”

Yui said to the eight girls who are still trying to fend off some of the remaining enemies.

They were about to trigger the automatic sliding doors of the E.I.M.D building but...

”Wait, Is that all you've got?!”

A female voice was heard from behind them which made them turn back, a girl that has the appearance of a vampire was standing behind them with glowing eyes looking right through their souls.

Yui's eyes turn back to red as she glares at the vampire that is as sharp as a knife.

”Do you wanna get knocked out as well?”

she provokingly asked the girl with a fox flame on her hand burning bright as if it was the sun itself.

This just makes the vampire laugh out loud as if she just heard a funny joke, she glares back at the silver-haired girl with smug smile.

”I'll tell you what... We came here to discuss something with you, Tamamo no Mae's descendant. We didn't come here to fight...”

The vampire kneels in front of Yui as if she was part of a royal family following with the still scared immortal underlings kneeling as well.

”A deal? Then why did you attack?”

The newly arrived reinforcements glares at the vampire with their weapons pointing towards her...

”We want to be your servants. We only did it to make you come out.”

The vampire looks up to Yui with blank eyes as if she was dead inside.

This answer just confused Yui even more since they attacked the HQ instead of just going into the lobby instead of starting a fight, her expression quickly changes to a look that someone would have if they met someone wierd or creepy.

'Oh god... Did I just attract some wierdos?'

Everyone didn't know how to react to this and just kept their mouth shut, meanwhile Kanade who was right behind Yui is currently trying to hold in her laughter.

'What the hell... This is too stupid... And here I thought they were trying to take us out...'

Hideo just face palms at how this whole situation turned out and began to walk back into the building knowing that they aren't hostile.

”Why would you want to serve me? I'm not even a deity.”

Yui asked continuing to be confused and now with a blank expression.

The vampiric girl explains that her clan served the fox spirit Tamamo no Mae when she was still alive and they found out that a descendant of hers was born, because of this they now want to serve her.

”What...? I thought Tamamo no Mae didn't have any servants...”

Miku spoke surprised at this fact that wasn't documented on books.

The still in a kneeling stance, the vampire replied: ”Yes, We were serving her in the shadows and the official legends of hers doesn't mention us because humans had no idea that we were her servants...”

'This is suspicious...' The four fox girls along with the Miku, and the twin cat humanoids thought knowing Tamamo no Mae's legend well.

The twin cat girls noded at each other and took out talismans secretly and carefully dropped them behind them to setup a capture spell in casr the vampire was lying about the whole thing about being Tamamo no Mae's legend.

A moment of silence surrounded them as Yui started thinking of what to say to the female vampire in front of her...

The reinforcements also started to change their posture to that of a person that's about to use a spell in the chance that the vampire was trying to trick Yui.

”I don't really trust your words... I need proof that proves that you did serve Tamamo no Mae.”

Akagi who was standing in between Kuro and Shumizu spoke up looking for evidence that proves that she wasn't lying about what she just said.

”Is that all?”

The vampire got up and took out a scroll that had writting that you'll see on a contract between two parties with finger prints marked on it with blood.

Yui took the said scroll out of the hand of the vampire and carefully examined it.

”Ok, fine do what you want... But if you betray me I'll wipe out your whole clan.”

The vampire girl who was now standing had a grin emerge on her face as Yui approved of her clan serving her.

”Yes, Master. We won't betray you... Mark my words...”

She kneeled down again as if she was kneeling in front of a king.

With the ”Attackers” turning out to be Tamamo no Mae's former servants, Yui and the others along with the servants continued to arrest any dangerous immortals.

The apprentices of Yui, Kuro, and Shumizu had also finished their apprenticeship and are now fully pledged members of the E.I.M.D.

Tamamo no Mae's former servants now serving the protagonist, Hideo got permission from the higher ups to let them stay at the dorms as the third team.

Their job isn't quite done yet, Hideo had also given them jobs as spies near the school that Yui's team is observing.
