12 Chapter 10 Yuis Mentorship has Begun (2/2)

Miku reaches for the bottle of water that Yui had offered her and immediatly drank all the water inside of it like a drain in a bath house.

With a cold sweat running down her forehead, the blue-eyed protagonist couldn't believe at how fast Miku had drank a bottle of water. 'She drank it all so quickly...'

At the same time of Miku just chugging down a whole bottle of water in one go, the other four fox girls didn't see what had just happened since they were busy drinking their own bottles of water that they had brought with them.

”A-Are you all right, Miku?”

Miku who has now finished drinking a whole small bottle worth of water like it was nothing answered: ”I'm fine, Mentor. I just need to rest for a short while...”

Yui nods at her to let her know they'll wait for her to finish resting.

With the five who can't leave Miku behind as she's taking a break from the morning run, the child-like Kanade who has just finished drinking water asked: ”I wonder when the other members will arrive...”

At the same time Shumizu who just standing as she wipes her sweat from the run just ignores her question.

”Is that all you think about now, Kanade?” The black-haired Kuro who is leaning on a wall inquired with a tired look on her face.

”No? I think about a lot of things, you know?”

”Really? Like what?”

Face with this sudden question, Kanade can't help but sweat nervously due to her not having any good answers to the given question. ”Well... That's...”

”That's what?”

”You know what, aren't you curious too?”

Kuro averts her eyes for a second to think...

”N-No, And besides it's not like it'll make them arrive sooner...” she said with a face as red as a beet.

This answer that she got from Kuro made Kanade want to mess with her more...

”Oh~? Quit lying... It's really abvious when you lie...”

”What are you even talking about? W-Why would I lie?”

Now noticing what's going on in front of her, Shumizu thought: 'W-Why is she teasing my sister this time...? Did something happen?'

She pretty much has now idea of what started this whole teasing with Kuro since she was so busy wiping sweat of her face with a towel that she had with her.

Now with a smug expression on her face due to her not thinking that Kuro isn't telling the truth, Kanade continued her teasing.

Eventually Miku finished resting and told her mentor that she had indeed finished resting.

With them now able to continue their morning exercise, they now started running back to the E.I.M.D to end their morning run.

As they arrive at the lobby of E.I.M.D building they see a pair of twin of cat humanoids seated at the lobby speaking with Hideo.

One has grey hair, and yellow-colored eyes wearing blue-colored yukata with a matching orange-colored obi.

Meanwhile the other also has grey'colored hair but has blue-colored eyes, and is wearing the same yukata that her twin is wearing.

A voice from one of them can be faintly heard from where Yui and company are standing inside lobby...

”Like I said, We aren't nekomata.” the yellow-eyed girl corrected with a mature sounding voice.

They all notice them but Kanade on the other handquickly approaches the talking group in the lounge with a cat like smile on her face.

Hideo notices Kanade's light footsteps approaching and he turns his head. ”Oh, You girls are back-”

”A-Are they members of team two as well?” She slams both her hands on the coffee table in the middle of the two parallel-facing long sofas in the lobby that the three are currently sitting on.

This ofcourse catches the attention of the twins, both of them got jumpy after hearing Kanade slamming her hands onto the coffee table.
