12 Chapter 10 Yuis Mentorship has Begun (1/2)

With the other members of team two yet to arrive at the E.I.M.D building, the currently sharing a single room Yui and Miku are only about to wake up...

With a quick stretch of her body, Yui who woke up first is now in the process of waking up her junior/student.

”Hey Miku, It's morning already. We need still need to do a morning run, you know?” With a clear voice Yui who is now shaking the asleep oni in her futon gently.

Today being an off day from school, Yui and the other members of team one currently have the day off from school.

Yui now having a junior, she now has the job of teaching her the ropes at being a part of the team of E.I.M.D whenever she has the free time to do so.

With a soft sounding voice coming from the dark blue-haired girl's mouth, she slowly raises her head from her pillow to show that she is now indeed awake.

”Good Morning, Mentor....”

Noticing that Miku is now awake, Yui quickly opens one of the drawers of a dresser inside the room and begins changing her clothes. ”About time you woke up, Miku. Get changed, we're going on a morning run.”

'I AM scared of the oni but... Miku doesn't really seem she'd cause me harm so... I'll trust her for now.' Yui got changed and the outfit she chose for the morning run, is ofcourse a red-colored tracksuit that Tada had given her when she still stayed over at their house.

With the sound of the zipper of the upper part of the work out attire, she is now ready to go.

Meanwhile Miku who is only about to get out of her futon. ”A morning run?”

”Yes, I found that running during the mornings help with the job at E.I.M.D.” The silver-haired explained with a enthusiastic look on her face.

Miku who was now standing up and out of her futon looks away from Yui to try to hold in her laughter from how enthusiastic she is. 'I can't take her seriously when mentor has that look on her face...'

With the two now ready for their morning run, they are now at the lobby. Four foxes can be seen at the lobby seemingly waiting for the two of them to come out of the dorms.

The ever mischievious said along with a snicker coming out of her mouth. ”You're late Yui.”

Yui just glares at the loli-looking girl as she heard her snicker. 'I still haven't forgotten you're teasing from before, you loli.'

She then turned her head to look at Shumizu who is currently crouched down tying her running shoes. ”I've been meaning to ask... This is just out of curiousity but, are the four of you descendants too?”

Hearing this interesting question, the red-eyed Kuro who was looking out through the glass door of the building's entrance answered instead of Shumizu. ”Nope, though me and Shumizu just woke up in the middle of a forest. Can't really remember where this forest was though... Me and Shumizu aren't.”

The red-haired fox Akagi who at the same time was currently just staring at a talisman that she's holding answered: ”I'm not either, I'm actually a summon that Hideo summoned on a ritual.”

The now making a expression as if her fun was stolen from her, Kanade shook her head. ”Nah, I wish I was though... I'm actually a fomer wandering fox spirit, wandering around looking for a purpose.”

'So, these four are actually had different background, huh?' Yui placed a hand on her chin trying to process the answers that she just got.

A moment of silence in the lobby...

She finally puts down her hand and now asks her junior, Miku the same exact question. But her answer was...

”Yes, as a matter of fact... I'm the descendant of Shoten Doji... I suddenly woke up in a forest in the kansai region without any clue as to why I existed at all.” She answered pointing to her two demon horns on her forehead.

The four foxes spirits now have a shocked look on their faces because of the sudden reveal of the Purple-eyed oni.

At the same time, Yui who already suspected her to be one didn't look surprised at all.

Miku who is a oni has now revealed to the five girls that she is indeed a descendant- a descendant of the oni Shoten Doji who in japanese legend was responsible for the abductions of young women at the capital city of Kyoto, which was later decapitated by Minamoto no Raiko after being offered sake which he drank after receiving it during the reign of Emperor Ichijo who was the one ordered Minamoto no Raiko and Fujiwara no Hoshi to kill the said oni.

'I knew it... She is another descendant...'

The now panting and sweaty five fox spirits along with the oni Miku, have now ran all over the area where the E.IM.D building resides.

”So tired...” The now exhausted Miku collapses onto her knees.
