6 CHAPTER 6: Were back again...hero... (1/2)
Later on, Ru was still crying with her tearsome eyes and frightful face, while she was embracing him tightly, even though there was a smile on her face. Zeran didn't utter any other word and just hugged her tight too. For quite sometime, The air around both of them was quite chilling yet, it was filled with sudden intensities. Fluttering lavander butterflies were swarming around the two such as those were flowery petals and glistening gemstones. Zeran was feeling the amazing warmth of her body and even her scarred emotions deep inside. Thereon, he was in his thoughts,
(”I guess she was scared too...”)
(”But really...any woman would be afraid of that...”).
The both of them were heavy on their deafening silence. Since they were somehow traumatized with the previous experience they had witnessed upon. His eyes weren't showing any sign of hatred instead, it proved much concern for the evil Goddess Ruhime. Sometime soon, she had dried up her tears and calmed herself down. She removed her arms upon him. More than that, her usual teasing self and dazzling smile was back. While, Zeran had noticed that she returned to her normal self, he sat on the bed near her and asks her,
”Ru...I just wanna ask something...”
”What just happened back there?”.
She looked up and somehow replies to him in an unsure way but, a sinister smile was also on her face too, such as she had the appearance of a tricky woman, that would make any man twist their minds,
”Hmmmmm♪”
”Let's just say...We were able to escape...”
”Unharmed and my whole body untouched by that abusive putrid creep...”.
As he heard her direct words, his face turned puzzled, since fast-paced things had happened in a glimpse, while he was in deep slumber. He was confused in his thoughts later on,
(”Hmmm...So we escaped...but how?”)
(”Ru's telling the truth...”)
(”Wait...Ru's telling the truth?”).
Though he just nodded, since he doesn't want to delve deeper into the mind-boggling mystery so, he asks another question,
”Oh and...what about the artifact...”.
She pointed out her wooden desk to him and replies,
”Well it's already there...at that desk...”.
He saw the inexplicable mini statue of the mandragora tinged in golden brilliance. Ru showed a grateful face to him in a very daring way, that would entrance any man's feeling and said,
”And thanks to that...my home is bigger now...”.
Trying to grasp on what she had said, he looked around the place with his suspicious eyes. It seemed she was telling the truth, as his immediate eyes took a glance of the place, in which it had a wider and bigger space than ever before. Moreover, the wooden floor was no longer visible, instead it was covered by a luxurious but, simple red carpet all-around. Soon upon, he was convinced deep in his thoughts,
(”Hmmm...so that's how it is...”).
While she had been seeing him being quite awe-strucked in his very expression. She adds upon with her pleasing voice, trying to appease him more,
”Oh!”
”And not only that...”.
She brought out a small picnic basket weaved in amazing sophistication. It was ladden in a thin yet, strong material and the handle was thicker but, it was still the same material used. Soon, she offered the basket and said,
”Here...”.
Zeran had noticed her and turned around his look upon the basket she had offered in front of him. He had seen the fresh and healthy looking root crops in pale pinkish color, that looked very delectable and edible, making him to utter out his words,
”Turnips?”.
She nodded to him with a subtle smile.
”This was also due to the artifact you retrieved for me...”
”Now my small garden is growing turnips...”
,as she had said and shown him in a grandeous way beyond the window. He turned his face and he was inexplicably surprised with, an optimistic expression, since he had witnessed upon his very eyes outside the window, that the turnips were growing quite rapidly in the loam and rich soil. There were more lavander butterflies flutterring in the fleeting winds outside. Soon, she lifted Zeran's chin with her goddessly flawless left hand. He took notice of her action and turned his head and saw her entrancing face yet, again. She went very close to his face. Next, she closed her eyes. Her subtle smile upon her face was sinister yet, intensely seductive as the eye can see. She opened her eyes that was very truly mesmerizing to observe. He had looked with rising nervousness up to his very spine. More than that, the whole room was emanating heavy and unusual passionate feeling around. Though, their inner feelings were somehow bonding with each other through their eyes in such a way of wreathing petals. Sudden warmth was felt throughout the place. She went near his ear and left out a soothing whisper upon him,
”And for this 1st quest done...”
”I shall reward you...”.
As she felt upon his cheek with her soft and steaming lips that even left out a velvet kissmark in a quite sudden manner just like any flirty woman would to her prey. Then she said in front of his face,
”That was just the first...”.
She released her mesmerizing hold upon him. She took the basket filled with turnips and walked away quite gracefully for Zeran can see. Sometime soon, a magically enchanting door at the wall appeared before her. Though, as she was still in front of the door. Her eyes took a glance of fleeting interest to him midway and even slipped out a grateful smile filled with hope too, despite she was revered as a menacing deity. Then, she expressed with her soft voice,
”Thank you...Zera...”
”You saved me back there...”.
While he heard her sudden appreciation, he was dumbfounded in his thoughts,
(”Saved her there...wait what?!)
(”What did I even do there?!”).
Meanwhile,in another occasion, Mai was at the lively run-on-the-mill tavern in any medieval fantasy world of Florence village, that Zeran and Ru had stumbled upon previously. More than that, Mai was now drinking her whiskey and her eyes were seeing the rowdy men brawling with their fists and even sharing their kinda adventurous stories with each other that was causing the a huge ruckus all-around. Soon, Mai recalled her thoughts,
(”I guess I'm back at...Florence village...”).
Her recollection went deeper as she even flashbacked the situation she saved the queen from the sudden invaders. Then, the queen ordered her to find him and his recent whereabouts here, since there was something awry with the agreement. Soon, she went deeper unto her sea of memories. She remembered the times when Zeran, Gav and her were travelling around the place, trying to find a way to calm the berserked dragon before. A little while later, her recollection had stopped, as she overheard two burly people talking with no finesse at all,
”Oi haven't ya heard?”
”There was something that had happened here at this peaceful village of ours?”
”But noone knew who did it?”
”Strange...”
”Well it's true...and somehow those beautiful females were even looking with evil grins on their faces...”
”Instead of being shocked, they were laughing like maniacs when they saw what happened to him...”
”Wow...they must've gone insane when they saw him...well...”
”I think he deserved that too...after all he—”.
As soon as she had heard those rumors from them, she was alarmed with grave worry in her look, riling up her shocked thoughts,
(”Don't tell me...it was...him?!”).
She had left in a sudden manner but, she still left a tip and made the folding door slam so strong. The rough guys at the tavern were all shocked in mute but, returned to their usual selves later on. Mai was now outside and the air was dense and whorled in strange mourning. The sublime night sky was visible to the naked eye. Later on, she had noticed upon the center of the village that she wouldn't believe her eyes. At the distance, were 5 beautiful females with their sheer insane happiness and not heartfelt mourning upon their expression. While they were looking at the gruesomely dismembered pieces of Gav's arms and his heart ripped-out inside-out, that was oh so excruciatingly painful to see as it was slathered and spilled in dark blood too. There were also some concerned villagers looking upon with great suspicion upon the dead corpse too. Afterwards, she heard the murmuring of the beautiful females with various hair colors and hairstyles,
”Good riddance...you cheater...”
,as the tall woman with dark red hair uttered.
”Not only you had 2 wives...you had 5 wives...and we were all idiots to believe your sweet lies...like you are the only one I truly love...bleh...”
,while another woman in straight black hair added upon with disgust in her eyes.
Though, the other woman with pink hair and looked younger amongst them there says with such regrets,
”If only I believed in Zeran...he could've been a better husband...”
”I wonder why Lady Fae overthrew and broke her vow to him...”
”He's too loyal even as a King...”.
Mai, was truly convinced as she had seen upon and felt her chest, feeling the ever pain of a dismembered companion and ally. Thereupon, she was in her thoughts feeling the heavy winds,
(”So Gav was killed...”)
(”I know you hated him as a companion...for stealing one of the women you admire here in this new world...”)
(”But please don't let my intuitions be correct...”)
(”Zeran...”).
That sudden moment, the atmosphere around the place became frozen and stiff. The malevolent winds and dark miasma coursed throughout the place that broke the windows into fragments. The villagers were scared and terrified for a moment. Thankfully, the sudden air of destruction was gone immediately. Mai felt suspicious of the sudden phenomena. The strange thing she had witnessed was the terrifying winds came from the chaotic white sky above and gushed down through an unusual turbulence.
On the other hand,
in an exquisite-looking bedroom. That revered of great royal value. Lights of dimmed yellow and the bed of glistening glamour. Fae known as the queen was staring by the window.
