Chapter 280 Too Complex! (1/2)

They finally reached Sarah's office.

Sarah noticed that her daughter was in a preoccupied state.

”Aren't you going back to the clinic, child? What are you thinking with that pretty head of yours?” Sarah asked her daughter.

Jessy blinked her eyes twice. ”Ah, yes, um...I'm just thinking why the world situation is getting worse nowadays?” she asked out of the blue.

Sarah sighed.

”Because...sometimes the people weren't doing their part...human beings are not exactly the best and perfect race that lives on earth. All we have done is destroy mother earth left and right because we only think of ourselves. The human race is greedy, they only want to take...take...and take everything but they seldom give back. But I'm not saying that all humans are bad, just that majority doesn't care at all... and my daughter...don't try to understand and solve the world issues because it's too complex...it will only make you frustrated, pressured, bothered and feel empty inside. Just accept the things that you can not change and changed the things that you can change, it's much easier to deal with life's complexity that way than torturing yourself to solve the world issues, only death of the whole humanity can put an end to everything...”

Jessy looked at her mother in bewilderment. ”Huh?”

Sarah laughed a little. ”As you can see my child, to heal the illness and cancer that our society is suffering and to completely heal mother earth we called home, we need a complete reset. Let's not even start with worsening pollution, global warming, and many other issues affecting our society. In short, all that is needed to do is to wipe the whole human race from the face of the earth so that the new life order can begin...”

Jessy's browsed knitted together. ”W-would you accept that, Mom? Like ending the whole human race just to cleanse the world and the earth that we are currently abusing right now?”

”Hmm...not really...but just in case that is needed and about to happen, then we all die together. When everyone is dead no one will suffer anymore, no pain, no miseries, no more hunger, no more rich and poor, and everything ceased to exist. Since human beings created the majority of the problem of the world, if humans no longer exist, all problems will end! Right—?” Sarah explained.

Jessy smiled. ”You got a valid point, Mom!”

”Hey, but that doesn't give you the license to kill anyone without justified reason—got it?” Sarah sternly said to her daughter.

Jessy smiled and hugged her mother. ”Of course, Mom. I will only kill for the right reason! I won't end humanity just like Thanos did,” she replied grinning. She needs to make sure that her mother will stop worrying about her. She noticed that her mother finds it hard to accept that her innocent daughter was already an executioner.

”That's comforting to know my child! Always remember that there is always a limit to everything...and Great Power comes with Great Responsibility...”

”Aye, Mom. I'm leaving now. See yeah later...” Jessy said and exited the office.

That night.

After her two hours break.

Jessy teleported into the city to check the condition of the place that Elza will go home to.

Jessy went to the condominium address that Elza had written on the index card in her invisible form. She had an easy time finding the unit number which was situated on the 5th floor.
