496 Chupacabra (1/2)

Brother Black’s current offensive might was pretty outstanding, and truthfully only required several gunshots to melt through the 1000 HP ‘Algae Bubble Shield’.

The ‘Algae Bubble Shield’ pressured under the numerous explosions, and finally popped violently; releasing inundating bubbles.

Finally, the fiendish Chupacabra emerged from within.

This was a beast analogous to the Plesiosaurus dinosaur. Its body was covered in thin black scales, while its glossy periphery formed into a spindle shape. A layer of thin mucus smeared over its scales while fins propelled out of the front of its four limbs. At the tip of its limbs, were incredibly sharp claws. A massive plumpy tail stuck out of its back.

The enraged Chupacabra roared sonorously after receiving a sudden barrage, as it swiftly darted towards the ship.

As the gap between both parties narrowed, one could view the exceedingly slender neck of this fiendish creature; along with its massive head and elongated jaws like that of an alligator.

Due to its enraged state, it frequently widened its jaws to roar, which allowed one to vividly notice the Chupacabra’s mouth had a composition similar to serpents.

Its mouth could widen with unbelievably exaggerated angles, while its rows of incisive fangs within essentially appeared like groups of razors. Regardless of vegetables, elastic, hard or soft; all would be grinded to dust.

The reason this fiend could chew mightily, was due to two crudely large muscles lumped beneath the flesh at the bottom of its jaws; muscles that bonded and stretched towards its neck. One could imagine the harsh consequences of being chomped by it.

Probably due to Mogensha’s vicious and accurate bullets striking it with searing agony, that fiend popped out its long neck from the water; aiming towards Mogensha, it jetted out a translucent colorless venom at him!

Facing this venomous move, Reef immediately tore forward to block Brother Black’s front.

Venomous fluids splashed against Reef’s shield, before splattering to the sides. The ‘Alien Shield’ was totally fine, where the venomous fluid failed to corrode through it; droplets of venomous dew trickled down its surface.

When the venomous fluids splashed onto the deck, one could see cyan fumes curling up. Though the deck was crafted with extremely solid and wear resistant wood, a puddle of charred black tained its surface.

However, some of the venomous fluid spinkled against Reef’s face, as he felt his cheeks burning terribly. When the thick charred pungent assailed his nose, it followed up with a spicy blazing sore! Half of his sideburns had been burnt away.

If he had been splashed head on, he would probably have to pay a trip to Korea for plastic surgery after returning to the real world.

Even though Sheyan had shouted a warning; the venomous splash carried no regulation, as it smashed against a pirate who failed to dodge in time.

His entire right arm emitted sizzling sounds; yet strangely, it was as though he didn’t feel pain at all. Merely, he stared lifelessly at his boiling right arm, bubbling, before it ulcerated and dissolved. Ever since then, his consciousness failed to return to him.

At this very moment, a figure strided out with large steps; unsheathing a sword from his waist before slashing it down, directly severing the pirate’s shoulder!

In a flash, the severed right arm was corroded cleanly, as though it had been tossed into concentrated sulfuric acid.

That pirate was unyielding; knowing that he had escaped from death’s door, he hastily contained the blood flow as he endured the agony from a severed arm, before bowing humbly to Old Bath.

Indeed, his benefactor was former Commander Old Bath of the navy. This old head was Philip’s sword instructor, and held an illustrious reputation. His temper was foul but resolute, and was a headache for Sheyan. Killing him would seemingly affect the morale of the former marines, but not killing him was a waste of food supplies. It was a simple but tough choice.

Yet although Old Bath possessed daunting strength, to Sheyan and buddies, they didn’t really place him in their eyes.

At present, Sheyan’s reputation had inflated exorbitantly amongst his crew, and even the marines had no other alternatives of escape left but to yield completely to him. Sheyan wasn’t afraid of Bath starting any uprising.

More critically, this old head was terribly old-fashioned; knowing that he was a prisoner of war, he adhered strictly to the conduct of a captive. He absolutely wouldn’t follow the footsteps of his colleague like Philip and his crew, trying to ignite the gunpowder storage to repay Sheyan’s kindness.

Despite that, old Bath’s present abrupt action was seemingly out of Sheyan’s expectation. If it was a former british marine who had been poisoned, it wouldn’t be strange if he reacted. Yet the one suffering was a pirate, and that was indeed thought-provoking.

Nevertheless, Sheyan was facing a tier-3 legendary creature. He had no time to contemplate other matters.

Shaking his head and tossing it to the back of his mind, he discussed with Reef who was currently awaiting in strict formation.

”It is simply inconceivable for us to rapidly dispatch it. Therefore, if it becomes too challenging to tank the front, then immediately breakthrough to become an official Growth-Hunter. As I was the previous holder of the ‘Aleku High Energy Injection’, I was able to check its usage process.”

”The realm informed that once you employ that injection, it will instantly drag you into a state of inner realm. When that happens, you can take your time to check your considerations and slowly choose your desired path; because, in that state of inner realm, time will be extremely slow for you. That is until you officially become a Growth-Hunter, then the flow of time would return to normal.”

Reaf earnestly nodded and replied.

”I got it.”
