Chapter 29 (1/2)

Looking at the title of the book on the cover, the boy could not help but laugh.

Mika noticed the boy’s expression and said with slight dissatisfaction, “What? Do you think my reasoning is incorrect?”

The boy raised his eyebrows slightly and looked at Mika.

“Reasoning? I don’t see any reasoning in your process.”

Mika was stunned when he heard this. She waved her hand and said, “That’s not important. What’s important is that you’re very lucky.”

When the boy heard this, he said with interest, “Lucky? What do you mean?”

Mika was still a little excited. She patted her chest proudly and said, “Because you’re about to witness a correct and reliable evil ritual!”

Looking at the bouncing of Mika’s chest, the boy touched his nose and made a pleading gesture.

Then, Mika opened the book and turned to page 13 with a serious look on her face. She then laid it flat on the ground.

The boy asked curiously, “Why did you turn to page 13? There doesn’t seem to be anything important on this page.”

Mika raised her head and looked at the boy. She stuck out a finger with a smug look on her face and waved it at him.

“You don’t understand this, do you? The reason you turn to page thirteen is because there are a total of thirteen people in the Last Supper. This is an unknown number.”

The boy replied with an ‘oh’, sounding as if he was very serious and seemed to agree with her.

Mika saw the boy’s reaction. She then continued, going back to the book in satisfaction.

She took out two candles from her small bag and lit them, placing them on both sides of the book.

Then, she took out a needle and knelt in front of the book. She looked at the boy and said, “Come here quickly.”

“Oh.” The boy nodded repeatedly and kneeled beside Mika.

Then, he saw Mika’s gaze. She looked as if she was looking at an idiot.

“Please, sit across from me,” Mika said with a warm expression as she pointed to the other side of the book.

The boy did not look angry at all. He just smiled and nodded. He got up, walked around to the other side of the book, and knelt down.

Then, Mika closed her eyes and said, “Dear Lord Demon God, I, Mika, and…”

Mika could not continue. She scratched her head awkwardly and looked at the boy.

“By the way, what’s your name again?”

“Flanders.” The boy smiled and looked at Mica. “My name’s Flanders.”

Mika did not think that there was anything wrong. She simply started the unfinished ritual again.

“Dear Lord Demon God, I, Mika, and Flanders, will carry out the loyal summoning ritual for you.

“In this library that is condensed by Yin energy, I will use this book as a bridge and sacrifice our blood to summon you here.”

After saying that, she clenched her teeth and pierced the needle into her finger.

This time, Flanders exclaimed softly.

He did not expect the neurotic girl in front of him to pierce her hand just like that.

Then, Mika handed the needle over. Covering her finger, she said, “It’s your turn. Do you dare?”

Flanders smiled slightly, took the thin needle, and licked the blood on the tip of the needle with his tongue.

“Why wouldn’t I?”

Then, without frowning, he stuck the needle into his finger.

Seeing that half the needle had gone into his finger, Mika was slightly shocked. She stammered, “Hey, there’s no need to pierce it so deeply. Just a little will do.”

Flanders only responded with an ‘oh’ before he pulled out the thin needle.

A stream of blood spurted out of the wound on his finger, splattering onto the ground.

Seeing this scene, Mika’s entire body trembled.

However, she still endured the discomfort and pretended to be calm as she continued to complete the ritual.

She could not be underestimated by this guy who did not know anything.

Mika hovered her finger to the top of the book and squeezed some blood onto the left page.

Then, she looked at Flanders in front of her and pointed to the right side of the page.

“Just drop the blood here.”

Flanders did not hesitate at all. He nodded slightly and did as Mika did.

After the two of them finished dripping their blood onto the pages, Mika did not say anything. She just stared at the book quietly.

After a few minutes, Flanders could not help but ask, “Excuse me, has the evil ritual ended?”

Hearing this, Mika seemed to be a little embarrassed. She wiped the sweat on her forehead and said, “Yes, it has ended…”
