As it was still 5:10 am in the morning he still had time so he went outside the Village as he wanted to find an Evolved beast to form a contract with.
He went deeper into the forest, he was finding a beast with the strongest aura. He had yet to find the beast he was looking for but after 20 minutes of continuous searching, he had found a pack of wolves going inside a cave carrying bodies of different animals. Those wolves had golden brown fur with reddish tips, each of the wolves had a low-order servant stage cultivation. (1st Order is Servant Stage for monsters)

David chuckled as he said. ” Alpha Wolfie there is no need to worry, they are just sleeping and would wake up later.
The Wolf's ferocity lowered a bit as it understood what David said but it still remained vigilant. David continued ”How about we form a master-servant contract with me as the master and you as the servant, of course, in return l will provide you and your little wolfies with food, shelter, and protection that is if you form a contract with me.
After saying this he offered a contract that first would connect both of their minds to negotiate.
”Human, If you can defeat me in a fair duel then I wouldn't mind living with you together with my pack as your servants but if you lose then you would become a snack for us.” A deep voice sounded in David's mind.
”That's fine by me, so when do we start?” David asked.

The Alpha Wolf barked once and those spectating wolves dispersed, they both went outside the cave.
As soon as they went into position David simultaneously casted [Thunder Wave] secretly and [Magic Missile] as flashy as it could but when the wolf was about to jump sideways a bolt of thunder suddenly struck it down to the ground, paralyzing it.
David did not move as he knew that the wolf would immediately go into an enraged mode. As he had predicted the wolf had used it's Enrage skill as a Thick Beastly Aura surrounded the wolf.
It lunged itself toward David, He just sidestepped before dropping his staff and quickly chanted a mantra then suddenly a powerful aura was also being emitted from David as he kicked the wolf upward and said ”Absolute Style - First Form.”
He immediately arrived beside the wolf and kicked it down toward the ground but before it could touch the ground David performed a series of both kicks and punches on the wolf causing both bruises and wounds.
But before he could continue his combo to the second style the wolf tried to retreat by jumping back to get some space but David was relentless in his assault as he grappled the wolf the moment it tried to leap back and slammed toward the ground.

David leaped and landed on the wolf as he wanted to continue his assault but was stopped by the sorry voice of the wolf in his head. ”Human, Please stop, I will submit.” David got a hold of himself and said. ”I think I overdid it somehow.”
The wolf stood up albeit having a hard time to do so and bowed down while David chanted a spell then said. ”Contract.” A black insignia appeared in front of him as he asked: ”Are you willing to be my subordinate?”
The wolf nodded as the black insignia went inside the wolf's head and headed straight toward its soul. ”My pack will also be under your command, Master.” The wolf told David.
David took out a wooden gourd and told the wolf to open its mouth, he dropped a drop of salve into the mouth of the wolf and suddenly some of the wounds and the bruises on its body got healed quickly.
”Master, Thank you for using such precious healing potion on me.”
”No need to thank me as your master this should be the least I could do.”
”Master, There is something deep inside the cave that attracted us to live near it.”
David nodded as he asked the wolf to show him the way. When they arrived it surprised David because it was not a treasure nor a piece of equipment but it was considered a valuable asset during this time of the Apocalypse, it was an ore vein specifically a level 2 Black Iron Vein.
