David added another objective on his to-do list as he mentally checked the \”Find an Ore vein\” in his checklist.

He rode on the Alpha wolf as he directed the way toward the village and the wolf started to run but the wolves under him also started to follow the alpha wolf. Upon seeing this, David told the Alpha wolf to let the little wolfies stay at the Black Iron vein.

When the wolves calmed down and followed the command of their alpha, David and the Wolf started to run toward the Village. This method of traveling was much better compared to walking, they arrived at the Village 30 minutes faster than expected. The time he arrived was 20 minutes prior to 7 AM which was the time of departure for the army.

The people overseeing the gate were shocked as one of them regained his composure as he shouted. \”SIR! There is a 2-meter tall wolf running toward the gate! Archers Ready!\” But a person using the binoculars saw that there was a man sitting on the back of the wolf as if he was riding a horse instead of a wolf and shouted to his comrades.

\”Wait! There is a man sitting on the wolf! T-T-The man seating on the wolf is Sir David!\” The man with the binoculars stuttered when he saw this unbelievable scene.

When David and his Wolf arrived at the gate he jokingly shouted. \”May I enter the village?\” and those who were near the entrance opened the gates as both a man and a wolf entered the Village but those civilians who woke up early and saw the wolf suddenly had their legs turned into jelly, some had even peed their pants as they screamed as if the wolf was there to take their lives.

He saw that most of the patients are lying down in the ground unconscious with green veins in some parts of their body while some of the patients had emitted a scent that was very familiar to him. He used his appraisal skill on each of the deceased people to know the specific time of their reanimation as zombies. after a while, he noticed that most of them would be reanimated later at night while 3 of the deceased would be reanimated tomorrow.

David called a passing doctor that had the rank of Second Lieutenant as he asked \”Where is the head doctor?\” and the doctor replied. \”Major Wilhelm is currently not here, he said that he will report something to the general.\”

David nodded as he looked at each of the infected to find that certain someone that was infected by the Necrophage Symbiote but he couldn't find her in this room and instead went to the secretary of the Chief Doctor.

When the secretary saw David coming Inside the office, she saluted him as she greeted. \”Good morning, Sir David.\”

\”Was there a female infected that goes by the name of Shannah Cruz?\” David inquired.

\”Shannah Cruz... Shannah... Oh yes. She was transferred to the containment block because of her sudden urges to attack people. She is usually very friendly and obedient but when her urges for blood suddenly appear, her physical ability suddenly spikes up to levels that are nearly equal to people with professions.\” The Secretary sighed in sadness as she pitied the life of the young girl.

\”Shit. The Necrophage Symbiote is now partially awakened, There are only two options that I can choose from, either to kill her to kill the symbiote or help her control the symbiote. If the second option doesn't work then.\” He cursed as he turned serious and told the secretary.

The secretary was quick as she stopped her current task to lead David to the containment room as fast as she could.

They soon arrived at a truck with a containment unit at the back that had 3 cm thick metal walls with glass windows that won't break even if you smashed it using a sledgehammer.

The truck was rocking back and forth as sounds of banging was heard on the inside. The woman inside the Car kept banging the doors hoping to destroy it so that she can go out.

David ran toward the truck as he looked at the female inside that suddenly turned docile when he arrived.

He asked them to opened the containment unit and first refused as they reluctantly opened the unit because of David's pressure being directed to them.

The woman went out of the gate as she shockingly asked. \”Y-You a mere mortal, have the blessing of the one above!\”

David shrugged and said. \”I never wanted it. He just noticed me and voila, a free blessing.\”

He turned serious as he continued. \”As dangerous as the current situation, with you being half-awakened. I would need to put some restraining order on you so stay down.\”

His overwhelming pressure was now directed at the woman causing her to fall. He moved toward her as he put his hand in her forehead as he said \”Contract!\”

He forcefully placed the woman under a servant contract to restrain it from going berserk and killing other people but when the servant contract was completed, the woman suddenly collapsed.
