”Calm down Shani, we are not happy that you seek refuge in hell. We need you back on earth to do this.”

”To do what? You said restore the balance in hell, so here I am...”

I was still surprised that they know precisely where I was.

”We know exactly why you're there child. We are not going to hurt your mate, we are delighted that you had fallen for him as we had wanted you to. We believed that he's the strenght that you'll need...”

I was suddenly feeling drain, luckily Rain had just arrive and he was by my side instantly.

How can they do this to me here? How can they affect my strength down here.

”...Ah...you're human were friend, what a sight. So you decide to keep your mate hidden from us? You know he can't help you. It has to be your mate.”

I was draining fast, they were right Rain couldn't help me.

”Reach us again when he's by your side. We can't do this right now.”

They were gone instantly, Rain dispersed the summoning circle making sure that the connection were gone. And he place me to the bed, then at that exact moment Arkael burst into the door.

He must've felt my energy, which was almost none.

”Goddamn Shani, you can't do this on your own. You should know this by now...” Arkael kept on scolding me, pulling me closer into his arm. I heard him thanked Rain and dismissed him.

”I know...I just don't want them hurting you...” my vision was blurry, I feel tired so very tired.

How can they do this to me? How can they drained me so fast....

”You won't my love...I'm here for you, always. Sleep my beauty and get your strength back.” He said as he engulfed me in his arms.

He kissed my hair, and I could feel his love surging throughout my body. I snuggled in closer making him sighed.

It must've been hours later when I was reaching out for him, but he was not there. I was feeling better though not completely to my full strength, I stretched my body and gasped when I find the nymphs sitting by the end of my bed.

”My queen, King Arkael told us to wait for you while he's in discussion with Rain and King Ranulf. Our demon sorcerer made this concoction for you to heal faster. We will get King Arkael after you finish drinking this. It was the sorcerer's specific instruction that he had to be by your side once you taken it.” Sabina handed me the goblet, I was weary and sceptical about taking it.

But these were Arkael's people, he trusted them. So I took it and start drinking it, it was sweet and a bit lumpy and too thick but I managed to finish it.

Then the nymphs excused themselves and Arkael came back not long after them. Seconds later I felt the hotness surged throughout my body. He felt it too and was by my side that very moment. He started stripping my clothes off, trying to cool me down.

”Shani you're burning up. But he said that this will happen and he said to ride it out...” he was explaining to me in words that I could only hear partially.

What I heard was my heart thumping faster, then I was naked and suddenly horny.
