37 Its time (2/2)
”Sir, please get in” the man said ”I close the door for you”
When Chang Wook got in he noticed the bodyguards disperse into different cars and they quickly drove off.
”Um…Ha Eun?” Chang Wook said as he looked over to his wife. She was looking out the window.
Ha Eun knew what Chang Wook was going to ask ”The Oh family isn't as bad or as good as you have heard” she said before he had the chance to ask ”The only one I'd tell you to worry about is Ji Hyun”
”Isn't that Mr. Oh's wife?” Chang Wook asked confused. Why would he have to be afraid of his wife's…he didn't know what the Oh's were to her, he was still trying to piece that together. Is Mr. Oh, Ha Eun's father, her grandfather, mayber her uncle?
”Don't let her outer appearance fool you. She might look kind but don't for a second think that she is” Ha Eun said.
Chang Wook was starting to get scared. He knew everything about Ha Eun, yet he didn't know anything about her family, he only knew what he saw on the news and the rumors he heard around the company.
”Have I bitten off more than I could chew?” Chang Wook asked.
Ha Eun looked over at him. Chang Wook quickly realized he asked that out loud. She placed her hand on his shoulder.
”If I knew you couldn't handle the Oh's, I wouldn't have picked you” Ha Eun told him. Chang Wook found those words oddly comforting. Of course, Ha Eun lied about that, she picked him that day because she was in a panic and wanted to keep her job. She never thought as far as what would happen after they got married. She just wanted to comfort him.
”You'll be fine” she told him ”Just…don't make too much eye-contact”
The car suddenly stopped. Chang Wook looked out the window and saw a huge house. This looked jus as big as his parent's house. Maybe bigger.
”We're here” Ha Eun said.
”Oh joy” Chang Wook forced a chuckle. It's time to meet the in-laws.
