57 The Newbies and Noveria (1/2)
The conversation with Maldova didnt happen. As soon as I arrived she had to get to work on something else. But she agreed to talk with Galtea about what was going on. They both agreed I should spend time with some of the newbies. I guess they were right, but the System already informed them what they needed to know. Didn't think they would need to talk to me really till later.
I chatted with the newbies and would meet them the next day for a more personal talk. Right now most of them were doing something or another with the various crewmates. I spent the rest of the night working on a way to fight against the Reapers indoctrination method.
The next morning I did the usual clean up of myself. A little meditation and a mental cleansing on myself. l finished that quickly and decided to check up on the other me's. Nothing dangerous. Just couldn't still connect with the other me that was with Chari. I sent a message to Galtea about it. I sent a message to Alita as well. She might know what was going on.
Switching over to my Nether Realm I was trying to start a conversation with the newbies. Well, those who were present. Adon was sleeping after some training he did. Quists and Tifa were in the library studying.
Just left me with Proto Man, Samus, and Lighting.
”Alright Samus, what do you think of our mission?”
”Ehhh, nothing really. This place has some nice armor. The biotics are interesting but I rather not get involved here. Can I hold off for another place?” I felt her biotics, she was not interested in this world at all. Especially with the Reapers. They disgusted her a lot. ”Maybe a place with more armored personnel suit wise. Or maybe a more distinct place. Not Warhammer. That place is... cruel.”
”Umm, sure. I dont see why not.” I said not really thinking about it. ”Right now there is nothing pressing really. However, Warhammer might be a place you have to go if things get hairy again. I have a lot going to Magic the Gathering, so maybe another world later. I will talk to Galtea about it. On second thought I will talk to Alita. She can help with that matter.”
”Ok. Wait. why not Galtea?”
”I have been overworking her. I think.” I shrugged my shoulders. ”Something is off. That is why I wanted to give everyone some time off. Ah, anyway moving on.”
”I am good.” Proto Man said nice and composed. He was up to something. It was not dangerous more like a little mischievous. ”Go to her next.”
”So Lighting.. how are you?” I asked staring at her. She was bugged by me. I didnt know why but I had to somewhat learn why according to Galtea.
”Good.” She said preoccupied by something.
”Alright. Ready for a new experience?” I ask trying to see if she was actually capable of more. ”How do you think you will react to a new world and its people?”
”Fine.” One phrase answer again.
”Wanna talk about some things?” She stood there just staring at me. ”Like seriously.. anything?” Still nothing. ”Ok do you want to ask me anything?” Nothing still. I started to get agitated. ”Ok then. Would you like to return to wherever you came from?” A little eye movement and that was it.
”I think she is shy Boss.” Proto Man chuckled. He looked extremely comfortable still. Defintely was enjoying candy for one. He had bubble gum in his mouth chewing it between talks.
”Fwoo,” he blew a big bubble. So big it covered his face before it popped. ”Bap,” I watched as he peeled it off and started up again.
”For the love of...” I was getting fed up as I looked back to her. ” Listen here, if you dont talk nothing will get done.” Still nothing. ”Alright that's it, you can return back to where ever you came from you flat-chested little..” My sentence was cut off after I had to dodge.
”Fwish,” the sword came really quickly. I looked up to see her very angry face.
”You are kidding me right?” I stared at her like she was nuts. ”I call you flat-chested and now you react. I dont even know what your breast look like.” She pulled her sword back and stared at me. ”Oi, not this shit again.” Frustrated I walked away. ”So glad I didnt get far with your blasted game.”
”You what?” Samus asked.
”I did not get far. I have a little information about what happened to her and her people.” I said shrugging. ”Cant get to everything.” I started walking again.
”Fight me.” That's what I heard as she charged at my back. Parrying with my fist I stared at her. A look of determination, a feeling of wanting to prove herself pass onto me. She was no longer shielding herself from me. She knew that I didnt care about what happened there. That is why she was angry a little.
”Ching,” her sword scratched against my fingernails as I threw her back. Stepping forward I sent a jab at her face. She prepared to dodge but stopped once she realized it was a feint. Seeing my actual fist going for her gut, she turned to the side. I made contact with her kidney.
”Thump,” that was not the sound it should have made. Then I felt the leather against my skin. A whip had wrapped around my neck. 'How the hell didnt I sense it?' With a yank from it, I stepped back. I turned to see Samus.
”Hi, boss.” She had a smile on her face as she tightened her grip. ”I thought it best I help her out.” She grounded her legs and pulled harder. ”I just want to see how good you are.”
”Fine,” I croaked pointing my hand at her I fired. 'Concussive shot!' The fire of compressed physic and tech energy blasted her away. Hopefully, her armor would hold.
”Boom!” Samus flew far enough away that she was not in my immediate threat range.
”Thundaga,” I heard. I wished it wasn't true. A giant bolt of lighting wracked through my body.

'What the hell?!' I looked over to see Lighting breathing heavily. She must have put a lot into that spell. ”Rain Storm,” I said as I summoned the water droplets to attack her. The countless water needles rained down pelting her skin. I increased it till I felt a new pressure. Looking to the side I saw Proto Man. He smiled as his buster arm fired.
I threw up my shield. ”Ping,” it broke. I was carried off by the rest of the blast.

”Huff, huff,” I stood up covered in dust. ”Damn that hurt.” Gritting my teeth I stared at him as he walked forward. I should have expected this. Grinning I stretched my hand at him. ”Good idea.” He looked surprised as rune magic gathered around my hand. ”Concussive Shot!”
My blast was intercepted by a hovering Samus who fired her charge shot-blocking mine. The explosion sent a little air around us. She dropped down with a plunk.
”So I am ready to try again. How about you?” Samus stretched her arm out and I saw as it transformed to the rocket mode.
”So three against one?” I questioned as I healed myself with my rune magic. ”Fine!”
Sooting forward I watched as my body shot up a notch. Ramming toward's Lighting, I felt my body become unstable as I turned into water. I wrapped around her and applied pressure squeezeing down. Slowly I shrunk down crushing her and depriving her of oxygen.
”Damn you!” Samus yelled firing. ”Woosh,” the rocket travelled to us. Just as Lighting was getting low on air, I released her and kicked her forward.
”Kaboom,” she flew back towards me. When she got near I grabbed her by the legs and started to spin like a top. I threw her up into the air. As far as I know she cant fly.
Samus looked at me, then at her. Her booster's activated instantly as she shot off to grab at Lighting.
”Heh, smart move.” Proto Man said swinging his shield at me. ”Divide and conquer.”
”Well had to even a little bit. Still dealing with some things my self.” I said as I allowed his shield to get close before I grabbed it. I felt a sense of danger instantly.
”Bad move.” Proto Man said smiling. A large surge of electricity travelled through my body lighting me up.
System: Constitution Check 23 Passed. Strength 26 Passed.
”Ahh, shit thats smart,” I said gripping it tighter and pulling it free. ”Say goodbye to it.” Feeling sort of where the other two where I threw it that way.
”That is just rude!” Proto Man sneered at me. ”But this is fun. His fist came across my face. I dodged it easily. The next one came straight for my face again so I jumped back. ”Gotcha,” he said with that same smirk.

I split my focus on adding more to slowly constrict him while I turned to the others. It was just in time as a very angry Lighting was right in front of me. Her hair looked frazzled. ”Nice hairdo.”
”Hah!” She gave me a fast thrust to my midsection. I pushed it to the side and leaned into her. She stared at me intensley. I was surprised at her next move. ”Why are you holding back still?” Putting her hand up she fired a bolt of magic I thought. ”Concussive Shot!”
