41 Final Fantasy 10 Part 3 Not Edited (2/2)

”Schhlk!” My hand went right through the frontal part of the creature. Digging my hand in, I started to pry it open. Swinging its giant head towards me, I grabbed it with my other hand. Pulling it by the mouth I could barely keep a grip as it kept wresting itself from my hold.

”Keep still as I kill you. Damn useless summoner!” I felt my anger boiling over. I was sick of things not working out. My lack of training ticked me off once again. I started to aggressively punch at it again. For every time it smacked against my hand I would claw at its chest and punch it in the face.

Feeling my actual fist turn raw, I looked at them. My skin and muscles had peeled off from my attack. I looked over to the side seeing the ship was far away. That was good they were safe. Yuna wouldn't get plagued by the death of this village.

Echuilles sent a few sin scales at me. Summoning my wolf side I let it take care of them. I focused on the biggun. ”Bam,” I backhanded the creature. I felt the biotic strands as it turned to look back at me. The look in its eye was incredulous. It felt offended that I backhanded it.

”You can yield. Fight against Sin or die. Your choice, you failure of a summoner.” I didnt care for its feelings anymore. ”You should have stopped clinging to life and let your self die and this wouldn't have happened.” It was cruel but who cared.

”Roaaar!” It bellowed at me.

Sending my open hand inside of its maw, I shaped spikes to pierce outward. It reeled back in pain gurgling up something.

Pulling on its pain and suffering I transferred it to physic energy. Something in me boiled over as my chest started to burn hot. I could feel my Nether World reacting.

System: Overlord's Fury unlocked.

”Good of time as any.” Focusing on the chest wound I gave it, everything was going there. ”Overlord's Fury!” My body tensed up and I felt power come from within me. I felt my Summons leave.

A giant aquatic claw appeared above me. I watched as it moved on its own striking Echuilles. Out of the head, a spike appeared. Out of the center, two more spikes shot out. At the bottom another spike. I thought it was over than more spike appeared coming out of each direction. Soon all that was left was a sphere of water. It shrunk and then nothing. A flash of light appeared. A bunch of pyreflies and spirits floated in front of me.

System: Level up x1, Sin fragment obtained, Summoner Chronicle obtained.

Galtea: Are you ok. You stopped responding for a few minutes.

'The souls of these .. people disgut me. They ran from the fight against Sin. The summoner didnt try to fight till the end. She loved the attention but hate doing the work. These Guardians of hers enabled her and joined in on oppressing the people. No wonder the island was to be destroyed by Sin. These people are worthless.

Galtea: You passed through the village earlier. Did you feel that from them as well?

'No, you are right. They changed after this lot here died and fail. Well, I guess not fail. She did injure Sin well enough that someone else was able to kill it.

Galtea: What will you do with the sphere? It is concentrated magic.

'I rather just destroyed it completely and everything inside and feed it to the sword or my psyche.'

Galtea: That is your choice.

'I won't say no to this meal Master. The spirits here are tasty.' Slannesh said to me.

I thought about it again. Staring at the group of pyreflies, souls and decided. ”You become my summons till I decide to free you and I let them go on there way to the farplane. If not..” I tapped my sword just to make sure she understood.

”You cant be serious. We did our best!” A guardian said. ”What right do you have...” I cut his voice short with a flick of my sword. His body was cut in half then absorbed.

”I am not in the mood. I having trouble just looking at you all as it is.” I rubbed my temples. I overestimated myself once again. I was paying for it the hard way. Mom always said I only knew how to understand after the pain.

”I will follow you.. my Summoner.” She bowed her head to me and started to break down and enter me. I looked at the rest and grinned. ”Off you all go now.” Extending my left hand at them. My Soul Power went out and sent them to the farplane.

”Fwoosh, fwoosh,” two gust of wind came up to me. It was Riku and Mileena. Floating on wind currents they just stared at me.

”What is it? Did something bad happen again?” I asked already finding this day to be one of my worst yet.

”No,” Mileena said. Her eyes had a worried look.

”Come back to the ship. The island is safe and the ship is getting further away.” Riku said as she grabbed me by the side. Mileena flanked my otherside.

”Fwoosh,” we took off. With both of their winds intermixing pushing us along it didnt take long as all. In a matter of minutes, we made it to the ship. As soon as we did I felt the pain hit me finally.

”Ahh, damn it all.” My knee hit the deck. Way harder than I wanted it to. ”Thump. Creen!” I bent the metal exterior. ”Why am I so heavy?”

I started to activate my biotics to heal the damage.

”Stop!” Riku yelled at me. She uncorked a potion and poured it over my arms. The burning sensation cleared the cobwebs in my mind. ”Let us do it before you kill yourself!”

Looking down I finally noticed. My veins had ruptured as well as several blood vessels. My bones were broken and had trouble healing. Even with my upgrades, this body was a mess.

Mileena came over with Hotshot in tow. Immediately her eyes went wide. She didnt thinks it was that bad at first I figured. She reached her hand out and commanded the seawater over my body.

”Ahhhhhh,” I groaned in pleasure as I leaned against the railing. ”Thanks for that.” I stared at Riku and watched as she continued to work on me. Mileena had darted off for some reason. ”You ok Riku?”

”That was stupid of you.” Her voice came out angry. I couldn't see her eyes at all. Or her mouth. ”That was not the plan.” She said. I couldn't even feel any biotic strands coming off her.

”I know it wasn't. But I had to change it up. The barrier would not have held long enough. It was more powerful than I imagined. Even factoring in the fact everything was made harder.” I tried to move closer but Hotshot pinned me with the water healing. I looked at her, she was not happy as well with me. ”You know I thought you two would be happy. Considering how much you love this place and all.”

Then I felt it. A drop of water on my exposed thigh. It was not from the healing. Riku was crying. I reached up to grab her face but she darted off.

Hotshot walked over and sat down next to me. ”We were worried about you. Especially Mileena and Riku.” Hotshot spared me a sidelong glance. ”Something is bugging you. I can tell. What is it?”

”I think I should say when it's the four of us. It was something I realized in Zanarkand.” I said to her. She grunted. We sat in silence till Mileena came up with Yuna and Tidus.

”Heal him. You use your magic to make sure.” Mileena said. She seemed flustered as her speech came out weird.

”I am patched up. But thanks Mileena.” I smiled she still pointed at Yuna to continue. ”If it will make you feel better go for it.”

”It will. So shush!” Mileena said.

”Of course!” Yuna smiled and waved her wand over me. ”It just a regen spell. Just help tide you over.”

”Thank you,” I said as she left. Tidus looked at me. ”What?”

”You took on a tidal wave.” Tidus started to say something more but was interrupted. ”That was..”

”Stupid!” Riku said walking up. She had some clothes with her. She threw them at me. She glared at Tidus who in responsive walked away.

I noticed he went to follow Yuna. ”At least that has not changed.” Looking at the clothes notice it was a pair of pants and a shirt. ”Thanks, Riku,” I said as I started to undress and change.

”You dont care that you are in public?” Riku asked.

”No. Not really.” Changing the close out I started to tell them. ”Don't get mad or weird but.. well.. I died.”
