184 A Crows Grudge (1/2)

The next day, on my way going to school I saw the white crow. It stopped on a pole and was staring at me. I looked at it uneasily and took Xiao Mao and tried to sneak past and quietly told him, ”This crow is more vicious than a dog. I curse it to be caught by someone and cooked in hotpot.”

I didn't expect that the white crow understood what I said and suddenly flew down and ferociously pecked on me on the top of my head, I cried dad and mom and bolted and waved my hands around but could not hit it. I fled into an alley near the school, only then was it joyfully satisfied and strutted off and flew away leaving me covered in bruises.

Xiao Mao followed behind me but did not help me, and was only snickering.

I was very depressed, ”Why does it keep pecking me? Is it magical?”

”Probably, maybe it is a crow demon and it heard you saying bad things about it and so could not let you go.” Xiao Mao kept laughing until he couldn't even stand straight.
