175 Reunion II (1/2)
Anton watched the way Sky's sisters were around her, asking her if she was ok. He alone understands her sadness. He found his way to where she was standing and told Brianna and Jenna that he's got this. He took Sky away from the crowd to a corner and asked her if she was alright.
Yeah Kosi got her real good. Sky didn't want anyone to worry about her so she put a smile on her face as Anton asked her if she was ok.
”I'm fine Anton, I was just surprised. Kosi just want to prove that she's better than me, I don't think she knows my relationship with Neto.”
”Sky you don't have to pretend with me. I know how you feel about Neto. I'll look into it and if she really knows about you and Neto and did this on purpose, I'll deal with her. Nobody messes with my bestie Sky. I know you don't want to do anything about it but I will if I find out she carried out an investigation about you. Then I'll let her know the world isn't her father's palace.” Anton tried to control himself as he watched Kosi laughing with some of her friends.
”It's alright Anton. Just let it be, please don't ruin your evening because of me. I need to use the restroom. Let's go meet the others so I can tell them to have fun, you all don't have to worry about me.
”Alright love. I've got you.” Anton said as he took Sky's hand in his and led her to the rest of the group.
Sky thanked everyone and assured them she was alright. She excused herself and went to use the restroom.
Neto was in the hotel's lounge relaxing while the party was going on. Kosi's father Mr Uche own plots of lands in nice locations in the city and around the country. Mr Greyson wants to do a big project and needs Mr Uche's land but alot of people are bidding for the land so he decided to use Neto cause he found out the man had a daughter who wasn't a married. A spoilt princess at that. Neto had decided to go through one or two weeks of torture with the girl so he can close the deal and have his father transfer him.
Kosi had told him she needed a date for her party today. He came late and refused to go in until she texted him, telling him, she needed his help with something. When he got into the hall, he tried not to stand too close to her but when she took his hand and dragged him to her side, the words she said shocked him. ”Fiance?” whose fiance? and on whose permission?
Neto was so shocked by her outburst that he could only stand still and look at her.It was only when he heard the crowd cheering that he got himself back. He whispered into her ears telling herthat they need to talk. With that he walked out of the party without looking at anyone.
Dwayne was delayed at the gate cause the party was a private one in a private property and he didn't have an invite. It was only when he showed the man an article of him and Sky being together, did he allow him in.
But as he drove in, he saw the person he was looking for drive out in speed as if he was being chased. He quickly reversed and followed the car.
Sky sighed as she gave the taxi driver the direction of her house. She had used bathroom break as an excuse to leave the party. She wasn't alright. The man she's been trying to make hers is now willingly a fiance to another woman. She thought Neto loved her. ”Does this mean she's a total failure when it comes to relationship?” This question kept repeating itself in her head.
