174 Reunion (1/2)

Sky looked spectacular in her silk green dress fitted from her bust down to her knee thenflared out downwards with a slit in front, few inches above high knees exposing her thigh. She was glad she didn't have to hide her pregnancy anymore, not that she could hide it now. Her hair was tied up with a few strands falling. She wore the jewelry Mr Jay gave her as a gift on their first ball.

Anton had called her ”sexy preg. lady”. She smiled as she walked into the hall. She thought that if she was going to attend the reunion, It's best she do it in style. She made the design of the dress she was wearing and had her tailor put it together for her. She knew her friends and family were not happy because she chose to come alone but she wanted to do this herself.

Sky looked around for Kosi and didn't see her anywhere. She let out a sigh of relief, at least she can be herself before the bitch shows up.She saw a few of her old friends back then in highschool and walked up to them as they hugged and mingled with the crowd.

Dwayne woke up around 6:00pm. A call from Bones woke him up. He quickly went into his wardrobe in search of a formal wear. He was going to crash a party. Not that he likes rich people's party but he had to do this,for his boss. He knows she'll be mad when she finds out but it'sthe right thing to do.

Sky was exhausted from all the talking. She had totally forgotten about the dance and she wasn't even in the mood to dance. ”Darn it” she would have brought someone because of the dance. It seems everyone knew about her personal life because of the internet. She didn't have to tell them her fiance was away, they say it before she does. She knew everyone was friendly because of her money and position.

Sky was thinking of a way to escape before the dance started so she would avoid dancing with random people and avoid Kosi altogether. She wasn't in the mood to talk. She rubbed her baby bump as she stood up. Sweet pea have been awfully quiet all evening, maybe it's cause of her mood, she better leaves this place.

As she turned to leave, Sky heard Kosi's voice telling everyone it was time for the dance. The light in the room changed and all of a sudden the main light was on Sky.

”It'll be an honour to have the CEO of Jaydite, no other person than our old geek classmate 'Mena' open the dance floor for us Before I make an important announcement.” Kosi said with a smirk

The whole room was filled with applaud and murmur as they all waited for Sky to open the dance.

Sky sighed. She knew she couldn't escape the bitch forever. She smiled at the bunch of guys who were giving her sign so she could call them. But she didn't like any of them. She thought of borrowing her old best friend's husband, then she thought against it and she decided to dance alone, after she passed a note to the DJ.

”Here goes nothing” Sky said as she heard her favourite song. She felt someone tap her shoulder as she danced to the music.

”May I have this dance?” Aidenn said with a smile as he tap Ms Sky on her shoulder.

Sky gasped as she saw Aidenn. ”Hey you are not suppose to be back till next week, why are you here?” She whispered to Aidenn.

”Surprise boss.” Aidenn said smiling.

As they danced to the music, Sky noticed no one was joining them on the dance floor, that was when she heard the music change and heard the crowd gasp. She had someone say ”Where are all this beautiful men coming from?”

Sky turned to see her best buddy walking majestically to the dance floor with a smile on his face.

”Mind if I join in?” Anton asked as he winked at Sky.
