Chang Ping fell from the skies and as she touched the ground. And at that same moment, the Devils had their wings ripped apart and the Holy Race decapitated. The living was torn apart piece by piece and all of it was the result of a single being's doing.

The Origin General now smirked seeing his masterpiece come to life. He was not glad to see them suffer, but their death made him joyous.

Chang Ping could not find it in her to even try. She could see them all starting to fall, their hope crumbling into nothingness. A shadow appeared right above Chang Ping, however, glowing with a golden light, Holy Emperor Rachel's Haloes revolved.

The wind around her temporarily blew the others away and as the ground caved and towering flames sprouted from the ground followed by flowing lava, she quickly picked up Chang Ping, ”Sword God, tsk, how could have this happened. The bastard General actually came to attack us on his own with the All-Father's essence.”

Rachel cursed and then fed Chang Ping a golden pill that was abruptly spat out.

”Miss Chang Ping, what are you doing? I cannot heal you with my qi, and this is the only way you can recover! Do you want to die?”

”…maybe I do.” Chang Ping said with a weakened voice, tears streaming down her face without any signs of stopping, ”…we… already lost… I cannot even stand up… and even if I could… against that monster… do you really think we can win?”

”What are you saying? Are you not the revered Sword God of the Mortals? Why are giving up when others are still fighting? Eat this pill and stand and then fight so we can live to see the light of day!”

”What is the point… that monster… already knew… this would happen…”

Rachel looked at Chang Ping with disgust and almost spat at her face then and there but reeled it in knowing she was the All-Father's disciple, ”You coward, do you even hear yourself?!”

”That is not how you encourage a fallen warrior to fight, my Dear Holy Emperor.”

All of a sudden, a calm voice echoed from behind. Chang Ping begrudgingly turned her head to the side and in shock, her mouth opened, ”Yo-you are—”
