”Don't tell me she plans on sleeping with her the entire time she will stay here?!” he worriedly snarled. Candice did not mention how long she was planning to stay there, and Rui suddenly started praying it would not take too long before she leaves.

He heaved a deep frustrated sigh before typing another message for Cali.

Back at Cali's room, Cali bit her lips as she read Rui's message.

[Alright. Goodnight and sleep well, sweetheart. I love you.]

She could not help but smile alone and quietly squeal.

”How long have you both been together? You and Rui?” she heard Candice ask. Cali turned at her and saw her staring at the ceiling.

”Not too long. I mean, we became official just recently. More than a week.” Cali timidly answered.

”How did you know he's the one? The right one for you?” Candice asked next.

Cali smiled as she also moved to lie on her back and stared at the ceiling before she whispered, ”I honestly don't know, but I guess you just feel it suddenly. The feeling of security and warmth in his arms. The feeling where you can picture your lifetime with him...”

Cali was about to say more, but Candice suddenly yawned loudly and murmured, ”Sorry, I feel sleepy. I guess… I'm the only complicated one who thinks love is lethal. But I'm happy for you, Cali. Let's sleep already. Tomorrow is a long day ahead for sure.”

”Yeah sleep well.” Cali whispered.

After a few more minutes, she felt that Candice was already deep asleep. She quietly and carefully got up from the bed to go to Rui's room but froze in her tracks when she heard Candice mutter, ”Come back and sleep here, don't leave me... ”

”Yes, I will come back. I'll just drink some hot milk and be back soon.” Cali informed with twisted lips.

She immediately ran out and knocked at Rui's door.

Rui was shocked to see her standing there outside his door.

”I need to go back soon. I just came to kiss you goodnight.” Cali bashfully said and before Rui could comment, Cali quickly tiptoed and gave him a small kiss on his lips.

”Goodnight.” Cali muttered with her sweetest smile and instantly turned around to go back to her room.

Rui had a roguish smile on his face as he stayed there leaning on the doorway, just staring at the jumping woman entering the adjacent door.

”So cute,” Rui whispered before he turned around to go back to his own room.

Cali on the other hand was grinning with joy as she went back inside.

”So fast?” Candice sluggishly commented.

”Yeah I changed my mind, I don't want to drink milk now. I will better sleep…” Cali murmured and immediately went back to bed with Candice.
