” If I give you my body, what are you going to do about Gran? He will not allow us to exist if he knows of our existence.” Ling Tian asked.

” Is that so, then its a pity. Disappear!” Ling Tian uttered in an emotionless tone and the 'Past Ling Tian' suddenly exploded into fragments of light and disappeared.

” I had intended to fuse with you since we were one to begin with. But... With such cowardly personality, fusing with you will only become a hindrance to me.” Ling Tian muttered.

After the 'Past Ling Tian' disappeared, Ling Tian's soul seems to have become completely stable and it was fully in Ling Tian's control now.

But Ling Tian caught her hand in his just before she got up, startling her.

When she looked into his eyes once again, his expression was intense, almost threatening.

For a moment, Esdeath thought maybe he was angry, but before she could ponder it further, he yanked her to him and covered her mouth with his in a hungry kiss. She responded immediately, surprising herself. His mouth was so warm, the caress of his lips softer than she could have imagined. He tasted tentatively with his tongue, and Esdeath opened her mouth with a low moan.
