80 Soul Realm, Getting Back The Control Of Soul. (1/2)

Ling Tian opened his eyes and an orange light shined everywhere which momentarily blinded his eyes for a bit.

Ling Tian got up and saw that he was in a different place and everything he could see was white space and orange sky, which is obviously not the bed he fell asleep on.

” This is..... My Soul realm!” Ling Tian muttered in a bit of shock.

” But why am I here?” Ling Tian had tried to enter his soul realm many times before, but he couldn't for some reason. But now he is here without even knowing why.

” You finally came in, huh?” A voice which was very similar to Ling Tian, but cold and playful, resounded.

Ling Tian turned around and saw a youth that looks just like him, but with blood red pupils and a cruel smile.

” This feeling.... You!! Don't tell me?!” Ling Tian said in shock as he looked at the blood red eyed youth who looks just like him.

” That's right. I'm your Instincts! If I go by the name you refer me to as, then I'm Saiyan Instincts.” The blood red eyed youth was the personification of Ling Tian's Saiyan Instincts.

” It's our first time meeting face to face, isn't it? So? How does it feel to stare at your own other self, True Self!” 'Saiyan Instincts' asked Ling Tian with a smile.

” .... Why am I here?” Ling Tian asked.

” How should I know?” 'Saiyan Instincts' asked Ling Tian.

” Aren't you the one that brought me here?” Ling Tian asked while being a bit wary. He knew more than anyone how dangerous his Saiyan Instincts is.

” No. I'm only here because you're here.” 'Saiyan Instincts' said.

” Huh? What do you mean by that?” Ling Tian asked.

” Don't act like an idiot. Did you forget what I am? I'm not a separate part of you. I am you!” 'Saiyan Instincts' said in a disdainful expression.

” .... ”

” So, why am I here ?” Ling Tian asked.

” You've finally come! I've been waiting for you, imposter.” A voice different from Ling Tian and 'Saiyan Instincts' resounded with hate.

” Hm?” Ling Tian was startled and looked in front and was quite shocked. 'Saiyan Instincts' didn't show any reaction to this, but there was still a faint smile on his face that couldn't be hidden.

Ling Tian saw someone who looked exactly like him, a bit scrawny and less handsome.

” You are?” Ling Tian asked, although he could somewhat guess who it is.

” I am the real Ling Tian! Now give me back my body!” The scrawny guy said.

” .... ”

” .... ”

Ling Tian sighed and said, ” So you're the fake that took care of my body in my absence, huh? But how do you still exist? Why didn't I sense you within me?”

” If anyone is the fake, then it's you! ” said the 'Past Ling Tian'.

The 'Past Ling Tian' then looked at 'Saiyan Instincts' and said, ” Return to me.”

” Hehe...hehehe... How funny...Hahahaha!!” The 'Saiyan Instincts' laughed then turned towards Ling Tian and said, ” Don't you have anything to say? A mere consciousness that was born from your remnant soul fragments is now claiming to be the real you!”

Ling Tian didn't respond to 'Saiyan Instincts' words and simply kept looking at the 'Past Ling Tian'. Suddenly he realized something.

” So, a part of you existed within my soul from the day I returned to my original body, huh? And you've been taking some of my soul power to sustain your consciousness.” Ling Tian said.

” You then got more power when I upgraded my own soul and before I could do anything, you took root within my soul. I've always been wondering why I cannot control my soul power when I have Devil God's experience, but I simply thought of it as a back draw for the upgrade. But it seems you've been deliberately making my soul unstable to make sure that I won't find you.” Ling Tian said.

” So what? Now give me back my body!” 'Past Ling Tian' said in a bit of enraged voice.

” Stop talking like you don't know. Since you have been within me this whole time, then you should know who I am.” Ling Tian said.

The past Ling Tian is something that was born from the embers of soul left behind after Rayne Ashbringer A.K.A Ling Tian sent his soul to Earth.

” You know more than anyone that, I am the real one.” Ling Tian said.

” So what?!” The 'Past Ling Tian' retorted.

” .... ” Ling Tian didn't say anything while 'Saiyan Instincts' was simply looking at all this with interest.

” If I'm not real, then I'll just get rid of you and become the real one!” The 'Past Ling Tian' said.

” .... ” Ling Tian was quite speechless.
