Chapter 353 - The Flame Formation of Five Elements (1/2)

Chapter 353 The Flame Formation of Five ElementsQin Haodong affectionately cuddled up to the little fellow for a while. Then he was about to turn around and settle the score with Davis when a great sense of crisis came back to him.

Thinking of the automatic explosion of the previous terminators, he knew what the problem was. He immediately grabbed Hu Xiaoxian with one hand and held Tang Tang with the other and rushed into the glass house.

Davis seemed to also realize that something was wrong. He limped toward the glass house, but he was only halfway there when the fallen shooters started the self-detonation process.

As several explosions went off, flesh and blood filled the room with tremendous force. Davis was killed first, and then his body exploded. For a moment the hall was filled with the smell of blood and the smoke of the explosion.

By this time the glass house, which could not even be fired by rockets, was fully functional— its defense was intact in the explosions. Qin Haodong, Hu Xiaoxian and Tang Tang hid inside without any influence, except that the air inside became a little worse.

About five minutes later the blast was over, and the bodies of the 50 gunmen, Davis and Garnett had disappeared. They were all blown to bits, leaving no trace.

“Who created this organization?” Uttered Hu Xiaoxian who was still a little shaken up after seeing the scene where flesh and blood flew. “What an evil organization. They are so cruel to their own people.”

Qin Haodong heaved a sigh and said, “Too bad we didn’t get a clue from Davis, or we really should have uprooted this organization. It should not exist in this world.”

“Man, you are too arrogant.”

When Qin Haodong and Hu Xiaoxian thought it was over, a voice suddenly sounded in the hall. Then the surrounding buildings began to spin eerily. In the huge click sound, the original scenery completely disappeared. The most terrible thing was that there was no sign of the door they had entered. Dark walls appeared all around, and the whole room formed an airtight box.

Then the wall opposite them lit up and a huge electronic screen appeared on the wall, revealing Davis’ large, greasy face.

“Qin Haodong, I have to say you’re better than I thought you were. You killed so many of my people and my stand-in here. You are good indeed!”

Qin Haodong was slightly taken aback. He didn’t realize that the Davis who had just died was a fake, and that the real Davis wasn’t here.

Seeming to guess what he was thinking, Davis laughed and said, “How about it? Isn’t it a surprise?”

“I tell you, I built this base myself. I am a god here, and no one can defeat me, including you.”

Steadied himself, Qin Haodong said, “I heard from Wang Dacheng that you all belong to the same organization. I wonder what kind of organization it is.”

“Our organization is stronger than you can think,” Davis said. “Although you are strong and excellent, you are nothing to the organization.”

“It’s funny that you just wanted to uproot our organization. To use a phrase from your country, you are dreaming.”

Qin Haodong didn’t argue with him, saying, “Come on, what do you want from us so you’ll let us out?”

“Let you out? You think I’ll let you out?”

Davis laughed as if he had heard the funniest joke. Laughing enough, he said, “I designed this hall for the enemy, but I didn’t expect the first person to rush here to be a Huaxia person.”

“I’m telling you, you can’t get out of here alive. It doesn’t matter that the situation has changed a bit. The glass house was your refuge and you were not killed. There is no air now, and you will soon suffocate in pain.”

Hearing this, Qin Haodong patted Hu Xiaoxian. Hu Xiaoxian instantly knew what he meant, and she changed her breathing patterns to minimize her consumption of oxygen.

Qin Haodong walked out of the glass house, raised his hand to tap the wall beside him, which let out a dull sound. The walls were made of pure steel, harder than iron bastions, and was thick.

Davis smiled. “Don’t try to get out. This wall is made of pure steel and is five meters thick. Even a missile could not break it.”

“I urge you to sit down and waste less oxygen. You’ll have a few more minutes to live.”

Qin Haodong turned around, smiled, and asked, “Do you think you’re going to win?”

Davis laughed and asked, “Don’t you think so? Are you very angry and very tempted to hit me? But can you come out?”

Qin Haodong said, “You don’t know much about the east. I can’t get out, but I can still deal with you.”

After that, he launched an incantation. With a wave of Spiritual Qi, the trap and the Flame Formation of Five Elements outside all started.

Davis looked at Qin Haodong and gestured, not noticing anything strange, and asked in surprise, “What are you doing?”

Qin Haodong laughed jokingly and replied, “You’ll know soon.”

As soon as these words were spoken, a piercing alarm sounded from Davis. Then someone came running over and shouted, “Boss, bad news, there’s a fire outside.”

Davis yelled, “No way! This building is built with top quality fire resistant materials. How could there be a fire?”

“Boss, it’s really on fire. Our fire-fighting facilities don’t work at all. The fire is getting bigger and bigger. Let’s get out of here or it will be late.”

Davis turned around and snarled at Qin Haodong with a fierce face. “Did you do that?”

Qin Haodong spread his hand, smiled, and said, “It’s just a little gift. I hope you like it.”

“Bastard, if you dare to destroy my efforts, I will put you to pieces, and turn you to ashes…”

Davis had just roared when the screen went dark. It must have been a facility that burned down.
