31 The Beginning (1/2)
Naga did not leave the manor for two days. He practiced his arcane techniques, studied his dragon mana and also trained his physical body. He did not waste any time.
He was meditating near the lake when Nicholas approached him.
”Naga, I contacted the man named Alfred. He'll be here today.” Nicholas said.
Naga smiled and nodded.
At first, this blue-haired elf mage was disappointed when Old Samuel didn't give him any task or position at their Magic Hall but after knowing that he will work directly with Naga, he became delighted. He knows that this is more fun and exciting than anything else.
”Did you see any possible recruit too?” Naga asked.
”Yes. They will be here today with Alfred. I recruited two other commoners. Old Samuel helped me and they are actually friends of Alfred too.”
Nicholas went to the commoner's town yesterday and looked for Alfred. He learned that this young man was a drop-out from the military academy. He has two friends who grew up in the town and wanted to join Naga.
”Good. Nice work.” Naga smiled.
”Are you sure that we are not going to attend the hall's opening?” Nicholas asked.
”I won't but you can go if you want.” Naga told him.
”No. Hahaha. We'll be a different group from now on. The hall is none of my business.” Nicholas laughed.
He decided to follow any Naga's decision. He is the boss from now on. This elf is really into this underground family thing of Naga.
”Head servant and Sir Nicholas, there are three men who wants to meet you.” One of the guards approached them.
”Thanks.” Naga stood up and followed the guards.
The three young men were escorted and they went to the office of Bill inside the manor. They were surprised with this kind of reception. What they knew was that the head servant recruited them sine he needs people for 'random tasks' that will benefit the town. They were all military drop-outs with some strength so they agree. Now, Alfred truly believes that the kid is not ordinary and there's a secret within the House of Iron Crow.
Naga and Nicholas entered the room.
The three young men stood up politely.
”Good morning, Sir Nicholas and Naga.” Alfred said.
”Nice too see you again, Alfred.” Naga replied.
”Please down.” He continued and smiled.
”You know that I will need your strength and help, right? Naga asked while sitting at Bill's desk.
The three men were surprised. 'Is he really just a servant?'
”Yes sir!” The two men anwered.
”Naga, I know but... The town... It will benefit from this, right?” Alfred asked.
”Of course.” Naga smiled.
”It will be fun too. We will be bigger than the House of Iron Crow in the future! Hahaha!” Nicholas laughed.
