22 Same Night, Different Trouble (2/2)

”Great.” Naga responded.

Two wooded men fell down.

'Swooosh.', Naga fired another two arrows and after that two men were hit again this time.

”Four. Only four followed you. We're lucky.” Naga said and smiled.

”...”, Bella was truly shocked. She felt that this boy can help her but she didn't expect it to be this swift.

”Are you really just a servant?”, she asked.

”There's someone going here. I think that she's a friend of yours.” Naga said. He dispersed the flame bow.

Naga with the disappearing flame looks heroic and gallant.

”Thank you.” Bella said and bowed.

”You're welcome.” Naga smiled.

Naga was actually satisfied and happy right now. He was able to used spacial awareness and he thinks that this improved his range and accuracy. He planned to develop it further too for a better space arcane foundation.

”Yyo... Young Miss! Are you alright?!” An armored woman asked. She ran and immediately approached Bella.

There were guards following her.

”Yes, I'm fine.”Bella asked.

”Good. Good. This city is becoming more dangerous now. Please don't sneaked out from the mansion anymore. You're killing us, you see?” The armored woman said.

”We're glad that the young miss is fine.”

” Thanks God, you're fine. young miss.”

The guards worriedly said. They were really angry right now. Some bastards are messing with their City Lord Mansion's authority and prestige by trying to kidnap the younger sister of the City Lord.

”Those four are dead. who helped you?”, The armored woman asked.

”Someone favored by the trees. He left without saying goodbye.” Bella said and bitterly smiled. She was quite disappointed.

Meanwhile,two different powers errupted from the City Lord Mansion and almost everyone felt it. Some experts in the city shivered while others just looked at the mansion's direction.

”WHO DO YOU THINK YOU DARED TO TOUCH??!!” a domineering and powerful voice was heard. The whole city trembled.

It calmed after a while and another voice was heard.

”For peace, I decided to investigate it first but.. don't push your luck too much. There won't be peace next time.”

It was the city lord. This is not as domineering as the first voice but this is powerful and authoritive.

Naga's group woke up as well and after hearing the voice of the city, they were shocked.

Old Drun and Old Samuel went out of their rooms. Bill and the four elves went out and well.

What they saw was Naga eating at the table. He's eating the remaining food from their dinner. He really like the food here.

”What happened, kid?” Old Drun asked.

”Someone messed with the mansion.” Naga said and smiled.

”Hey, it's not you, right? You didn't try to peek at the city lord bathing, right?” Nicholas asked.

Naga looked at him, ”I'm not an idiot.”

”Good.” Nicholas said.

”Hahaha!” They all laughed.

This is not really their concern and they will most prabably get the information later so they decided to rest again.

It's 3AM now and Naga went to his room too. Now, he wanted a good sleep.
