23 Not A Good Gathering (1/2)

Naga woke up and looked at the clock. He smiled when he saw the time, 11AM. A good sleep indeed.

He stood up and went outside the room. He saw Old Samuel reading news papers while Old Drun are reading what seems to be some paper works.

”Where are the others?” He asked when he didn't saw Bill and the four elves.

”They went to the City Lord's mansion. All of the city's big names were summoned. Even the gangs are included.” Old Samuel said.

”I see. Pretty normal.” Naga said.

”Kid, you said yesterday that there's a way to hide the Ancient Prime. What's the method?” Old Drun asked.

”An artifact blessed by holy power with two different magic inscription as a way of concealment. It's good that Old Samuel is a master of Light magic, this is a good cover. The other one is my Dragon Mana.” Naga said.

”Hhmm.” Old Drun nodded then he says, ”I created a ring with the symbol of Iron Crow. We can use this. Old Samuel, help me with the needed magic inscriptions.”

”Sure. Let's do that now. Naga, I'll teach you how to do it. We'll both put inscriptions of our magic then deliver it to the church.” Old Samuel said.

They activated the Iron Crow medallion and started the task.

At this time, there's a gathering of experts inside the main hall of the City Lord's mansion. Within the hall aside from the city lord, people are looking at Lord Willard. A true noble with four elves as guards.

'This man is powerful and rich. If he helps the city lord, this will be a huge problem.' An old man wearing a luxury suit looked at Lord Willard.

”Now, please tell me your opinion.” The city lord asked.

The nobles told her that they're loyal and will provide support while some are thinking of leaving the city today. The Crimson Earth Clan expressed their utmost support to the mansion.

”This meeting is stupid. You acted all high and mighty. What's the goal of this meeting? Give me a good explanation” A middle-aged man wearing a black overall coat asked.

”Branch Leader of the city's Seven Swords Society, right? This is my city. I can summon anyone who I wanted to summon. Ask any questions that I wanted to ask. But... I don't need to explain.” The city lord looked at him. She was too oppressive right now.

”You know that I can report this to our head master in the capital, right?” The man asked. You can see that he was really furious. He was looked down by a woman.

”Who cares about your stupid society?” She asked without any emotion.

”Yy.. You!” The man stood up. He was shocked when suddenly a powerful force hit him. 'Boom!'

He was sent flying and hit the hall's gate. Thanks to his reflexes, he was able to block the force with his sword just in time. 'Argh!'

”Branch leader!” His subordinates were shocked and went to assist him.

Many were aghast. Now they know how infuriated the city lord is. They can't just say any nonsense here.

”You want to scare me with your little idiotic society? Why, because this city is just third rate now? Is that what you are thinking? You're just an idiot who knows nothing.” She stood up and said.

”Now please tell me your opion.” She looked at the experts before sitting down again.

”Our Gang didn't do it.” One of the gang leaders said.

”We don't know anything as well.” Some other gang leaders followed through.

The old man who's observing Lord Willard a while ago asked, ”You can summon who you want to summon in this city. Hhmm. I think that it is tyrannical and not good for the citizen, right city lord?

Many were stunned and looked at the old man. This is one of the true experts in the city. He's the leader of the Raging Dragon Gang.
