Chapter 350 - Make Him Yours (2/2)

She eventually stopped on an old article about Marissa and quickly recognized her. It was an article about the two of them dancing together at a ball. She was the woman that visited last time! And they looked quite good together.

Avaleigh felt a tinge of jealousy and realized Chu was right, if she didn't act fast, she was going to lose Emerson!

Sure, Marissa was beautiful with a s.e.xy body and a straightforward personality, but Avaleigh was a popular idol with plenty of fans. Although she was no longer active as an idol, her beauty could not be denied. If she tried, Emerson would not be able to escape from the palm of her hands. She was certain of it!

With this thought, Avaleigh checked the time and quickly ran into her bedroom to get changed. Emerson was almost home.

By now, some of her clothes had been moved from Korea and she had also bought some new clothes, so she no longer had to dress in the shabby clothes that Emerson's maid bought for her. Avaleigh quickly flipped through the dresses in her wardrobe and picked out one that was casual, sweet, yet slightly revealing. She had to seduce Emerson without looking too desperate and this dress was perfect! Tonight, this bachelor was not going to be a bachelor anymore.

She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled with satisfaction. Even though she was a little nervous, she couldn't let this man slip away, so she was determined. Just as she finished getting dressed and applied a light layer of makeup, she heard the front door open. The timing was perfect!

She sauntered into the living room, trying to look as natural as possible, but quickly froze awkwardly in place when she realized there were two other figures behind Emerson.

Emerson paused in surprise while the two men behind him scanned Avaleigh up and down. Danson subconsciously whistled. ”I can see why you're trying so hard to help her,” he whispered to his friend.

Emerson immediately jabbed Danson with his elbow, removed his jacket, and covered Avaleigh with it. As he did so, he glanced down at the beautiful woman and saw her blush a little. Her collarbone peeked out between her long wispy hair and she had a little bit of cleavage showing. Emerson took a deep breath and quickly pulled his jacket tightly around the front of Avaleigh's body.

”Why didn't you tell me we had guests?” Avaleigh asked softly.

Emerson looked at his girlfriend apologetically and said, ”Danson mentioned a really good opportunity for you and I couldn't wait to tell you about it.”

”What opportunity?” Avaleigh asked as Emerson led her to the dining table.

Danson and Morton quickly joined and Danson began to explain, ”Ahem...I recently invested in a new entertainment agency and taken on the role of managing director. We are currently looking for artists to sign and Emerson mentioned you were looking for a new contract. Have you ever considered pursuing a career in Hong Kong and China?”

”A new entertainment agency? Who's the boss? What's the name of this agency?” Avaleigh asked in surprise.

Danson glanced at Emerson awkwardly, and replied, ”The agency is called AE Entertainment. You don't know the boss and he prefers to remain anonymous, but you can trust us...”
