With her lightning-fast reflexes, she immediately turned around and pushed Emerson back inside. But, this time, it was her turn to trip and fall on the man. She stumbled a little, pushing Emerson backwards onto the floor and her lips, once again, brushed up against his.

But, unlike last time, there was no mask between them. In fact, their lips pressed so firmly together that when Avaleigh jumped away in surprise, some of her lipstick was left on the man's lips.

Feeling embarrassed, Avaleigh quickly pulled the man up and started pushing him towards the balcony. ”There's paparazzi outside, you can't leave through the front door. Climb out the balcony,” she instructed.

Emerson's eyes opened wide in shock, ”Out the balcony? But...you're on the 10th floor!”

Avaleigh paused. That was right, she was on the 10th floor...

Emerson freed himself from the woman and turned around to look at her. The panic on her face was extremely adorable.

Not wanting to make her worry, Emerson offered a solution, ”I'm not sure whether the paparazzi saw me come in here, but to avoid another scandal, I have to walk back out. Are any of your other members staying on this floor?”

Avaleigh looked at Emerson questioningly, ”Another member? Yes...Mimi is next door...”

”Then...as a representative of your PR agency...I shall go next door and visit another member...”

After saying this, Emerson walked out, waved goodbye to Avaleigh like normal and knocked on the door next to hers.

Of course, Mimi did not expect to see Emerson at her door. So when she did, she was ecstatic. Did she successfully attract this man earlier? Had he fallen for her charms? Without a word, she quickly welcomed the man inside and closed the door.

As Avaleigh heard the door close next to hers, she touched her lips and felt slight discomfort in her heart.
