C1909 historical necessity (1/2)

Meng Yuan destroyed the Southern Song, but not the Chinese civilization. Although a hundred thousand scholars jumped off the cliff and killed themselves, in the people, the memories of history still lingered in the scholars' notes.

No one would forget the tragic massacre they had suffered that year, nor would they forget the order of the ten families to hunt with only a kitchen knife, nor would they forget the humiliation of their bride having her first night's rights taken away by Meng Yuan.

All of my hatred is slowly accumulated under the earth, from my grandfather's generation to my father's generation to my own generation, and in the end it continued into the hearts of my son and grandson.

It was precisely because of these generations of memories of hatred that the Great Ming Dynasty would have the war to expel the Tataru, which resulted in the rise of the Han Dynasty.

The Ming Dynasty was destroyed, the eight flags of the Manchu came, after entering the pass, they massacred the Han people, and became the slaves of the Manchu.

Could anyone forget all this? Although the Manchu had plastered countless of canines on their bodies, desperately defending the righteousness of the killings and vigorously reducing the scale of the killings in Jiading, Yang Prefecture, and the Three Slaughters.

But the common people did not forget that there were always some scholars in the wild who did not know how to be a dog, nor did they know how to be a slave! They used their own pens and used their own mouths to remember history from generation to generation. For over two hundred years, they would never let the memories of hatred disappear.

It was the hard work of these scholars that led to the two hundred years of anti-Qing and anti-Ming struggle, and to the full response of the Revolutionary Party.

Why was it like this? This was because the Chinese never forgot! When the revolutionaries once again raised the banner of exorcism, millions of citizens would immediately think of how, more than two hundred years ago, the foreign tribes from the north had slaughtered the Chinese, and the seeds of hatred would sprout once again.

It was undeniable that the Qing Dynasty had a very strong rule over China. The Literary Prison had never stopped. The so-called Four Treasury Book Collection Vault's most important purpose was to suppress the reversals of the people.

What is a counter-statement? Those records of the various massacres that recorded the entrance of the Manchu were the representatives of the great evils that were written in the reverse book.

Manchu was very afraid. They were afraid that the Han people in this world would record their brutal massacre that year. This was because this seed of hatred would one day sprout.

However, the Manchu had always underestimated just how huge the Chinese civilization's roots were. The national spirit branded in the genes was not something the Manchu could erase.

After two hundred years of rule, the roots of the Chinese civilization still could not be cut off. At the end of the dynasty, there would always be revolutionaries who would turn the tables on history and declare the shamelessness of the dynasty to the world.

The Japanese tried to colonize China using the name of the Great East Asian Shared Honor Circle. However, no matter how beautiful their lies were, they were ultimately unable to defeat the Chinese civilization's tenacious vitality.

The Chinese will always remember every massacre, and some day in the future they will be destined to take revenge again. This is already a foreseeable future.

However, for those people with low levels of civilization, they would have long forgotten the blood their grandfather bled. In his eyes, the enemy who massacred their ancestors was probably the benefactor who gave them the lollipops.

Why did this happen? Because their roots in civilization were shallow, they did not have many intellectuals who recorded history. Even these people did not care what had happened in history.

Their civilization had lost its power of interpretation in front of the colonists' superior civilization!
