Chapter 288 - Less Peaceful Holidays (2/2)
The White Tiger Cafeteria allowed guests to interact with the tigers outside the glass while eating. It was a wonderful experience for Yaya and Chu Bai.
Thanks to the tigers, they enjoyed the meal at ease. The two little guys didn’t run around and did not make a fuss. Even when Yu Sihan came over and sat down with them shamelessly, Yaya didn’t leave the window.
“Sleeping?” Out of the dining room, Yaya fell asleep.
Ling Lang took the lively Chu Bai away from Yaya.
“You go to play first, and we’ll find you when Yaya wakes up.” A Miao looked at her watch. “She slept in the morning, and it’s estimated that she will wake up in an hour or so.”
“Don’t wake her up. It doesn’t matter this afternoon.” Le Yi touched Yaya’s little face. “When the childish roundness fades after three weeks, Yaya may be very thin.”
This was what was said when Yaya was born. Her body constitution was bad because vermin existed in her body when she was very young.
“I know…” A Miao pursed her lips.
Shen Xinglan comforted her confidently. “Yaya can eat a lot of nutritious food and she will be healthy!” After saying that, he glanced at Le Yi.
“Haha! Yes!” Le Yi quickly changed his words and regretted what he had said. “It can be made up through acquired care.”
A Miao kissed Yaya, who was asleep. “My daughter will grow up healthily!”
The two families said goodbye in front of the lawn. Shen Xinglan and A Miao took Yaya back to sleep. When Yaya woke up in the afternoon and they were going to have a meeting with Le Yi, Le Yi said on the phone that they were in the infirmary of the park.
“What’s the matter? Who was injured?” A Miao asked nervously.
Shen Xinglan took Yaya in his arms and pulled her out. “It’s not them. It’s Chu Bai that hurt a little child.”
“Eh?”
In the infirmary, Chu Bai was held by Le Yi. Chu Bai’s face was full of grievances, and tears were still rolling in his eyes.
“How do you look after your children? If there’s something wrong with my grandson’s leg, can you afford to pay for it?”
When A Miao was at the door, she heard someone shouting and she pushed the door in.
“We’ve already apologized, but your grandson started the fight first.” Ling Lang was somewhat helpless. “It’s normal for children to pick fights, and the cuts on his knees won’t affect him walking.”
She was an old lady, and when she heard Ling Lang say that, she directly reached out her hand to hit Chu Bai.
“Old lady!” Le Yi grabbed her hand. “What do you want to do?”
Chu Bai suddenly cried. Ling Lang took out her cell phone seriously and said, “Let’s call the police.”
“What’s the situation?” A Miao went over and asked.
In fact, it was very simple. Chu Bai was feeding the lambs in the children’s paradise, and the old lady’s grandchild, the same age as Chu Bai, was also feeding them. Because the lamb did not eat the grass that he fed it, he came over and knocked Chu Bai down.
“Chu Bai is sturdy. He got up and also pushed him.” Ling Lang touched her frightened son. “But that child accidentally fell on a stone and scraped his knee.”
A Miao was about to speak. Nobody knew when He Shishi came in. She couldn’t bear it anymore.
“It’s not Chu Bai’s fault. Why are you complaining about us since you didn’t take care of your grandchild?”
The old lady was also on the phone, muttering something. Hearing He Shishi’s words, she hung up the phone and cried. “Oh, so many of you bully an old lady. I don’t want to live!”
“Wah, wah, wah…” Her little grandson was also frightened, and coupled with the pain of the wound, he cried out of breath, looking particularly pitiful.
“No more talking.” A Miao stared at her. “Take Chu Bai out!”
Shen Xinglan also handed Yaya to Little Demon and asked them to go out with the two little guys in their arms.
“Don’t go!” The old lady thought they were going to run away and went to pull A Miao.
Shen Xinglan stopped her. “We won’t leave until the problem is solved.”
“Yes! You can rest assured.” After seeing her little grandson crying so hard, A Miao could not help taking out a baby biscuit from her bag and handing it to him.
But the old lady suddenly knocked it away.
“What kind of garbage is this? Do you want to make my grandson suffer from diarrhea?”
A Miao had never seen such an unreasonable old lady. Ling Lang pulled her back.
“If she was reasonable, things would have been resolved by now.”
The policeman, two young men, arrived very quickly. They were not happy after learning what had happened.
“On such a hot day, you call the police for such a trifle?”
Ling Lang frowned when she heard this. “You mean that we can only call the police when someone dies, right?”
“How could you talk like that?” The policeman pointed at her.
Le Yi looked at the policeman with his arms around Ling Lang’s waist and said with his mouth picked up, “If you don’t care, we can call the policeman again.”
“All right! We are unlucky.” Another policeman waved his hand and took out a small book. “We know what has happened. Now you can talk about how to solve it!”
Ling Lang looked at the reluctant old lady and said, “We have paid the medical fees. If she thinks that it’s not enough, we can pay 1,000 yuan to buy some food and toys for the child.”
“What do you think, Mrs.?” The policeman thought it reasonable. “They’ll pay you 1,000 yuan.”
In his opinion, a payment of 100 yuan was enough.
“No way!” The old lady jumped up and said, “You wait for my son to come and let him deal with you!”
