”Believe it or not, the next bullet will be right through your body.” Shen Xinglan held A Miao tightly and stepped back, protecting her from potential blood splashes.
Xiao Mei collapsed onto the floor. She had never been through such kind of things since she was born, and she clearly got the information from Shen Xinglan's eyes that he would kill her if she still refused to cooperate.
”What do you want...” Xiao Mei asked, lowering her head.
Now she could only wait for Jiang Quanyu, hoping some escaped bodyguards could bring the message to him.
”Little Demon, send A Miao back.” Shen Xinglan carefully stared at the woman in his arms. A Miao immediately raised her head, showing him a smiley face.
Worried that later everything would get ugly and scare her, Shen Xinglan stroked her head lightly. ”Have a good sleep. You have been working on it for the whole afternoon.”
”Be careful!” A Miao understood it was useless for her to stay here and followed Little Demon obediently.
Until A Miao left, Shen Xinglan walked to Xiao Mei slowly.
”You can tell me yourself, or I can force it out.”
Xiao Mei looked up at him in panic.
”A Miao!” Song Baohua greeted her in a hurry. ”Just now some people breaking in almost frightened me to death. Luckily, Shen II let us hide in the basement.”
Little Demon helped A Miao and said, ”Aunt Song, let Miss relax upstairs first.”
”Right! Go upstairs!” Song Baohua patted her leg. ”I am going to bring soup to you.”
A Miao changed her clothes and lay in bed, sighing with relief.
”Miss, your muscles are stiff. You will be painful tomorrow.” Little Demon kneaded her legs and added, ”Can't believe you're also nervous. Seeing that you play well, I think you are not afraid at all!”
”I am so scared!” A Miao patted her chest. ” It's all right without looking at Xiao Mei's eyes, otherwise I felt nervous.”

”I will make you some fruit slices after you drink the soup.” Song Baohua saw her drinking and continued, ”You've worked hard to protect A Miao. You've done a good job at such a young age!”
Little Demon nodded seriously. ”I can't protect Miss if I am not good.”
”Hehe! What a sensible young girl!” Song Baohua closed the door and went downstairs.
Little Demon sat on the sofa and stared at A Miao lying in bed. Suddenly, her body quivered and everything turned into a blur.
”Damn...” Little Demon dropped on the ground without finishing the words.
Before she fell into a coma, Little Demon noticed that someone opened the door and entered.
Xiao Mei was tied up and hung upside down from the stairs by Shen I. Beneath her, it was a floor of broken glasses.
”This rope is weak. I don't how long it can last!” Shen I lightly rubbed the rope with a knife on the second floor. ”You will land on your face if you fall off.”
Looking at the glasses with a pale face, Xiao Mei gritted her teeth and asked Shen Xinglan.
”How can you let me go...”
Shen Xinglan watched her on the sofa. ”Tell me everything you know.”
”I do not know anything!”
The rope suddenly turned a bit loose, for Shen I cut off one ply of the rope.
”No!” Xiao Mei screamed. ”I'll tell! I'll tell!”
Shen Xinglan asked her again, ”Who attacked us? Why did he have A Miao's photos in his laboratory?”
”I only know the secret of the bronze mirror and jade pendant. I don't know anything else at all!”
”Speak.”
”The bronze mirror and jade pendant are the maps,” Xiao Mei told him unwillingly, ”maps of a treasure.”

Shen I was about to cut off another ply while noticing Shen II and Little Demon enter in haste.
