Xiao Mei brought A Miao back to her villa.
”Tell me the password, and my people will get it.”
A Miao kept a straight face and said, ”What if you should lie to me? I am all alone by myself, and even Little Demon didn't come with me. If you take the treasures without telling me where Shen Xinglan is, I can do nothing but watch you go.”
Xiao Mei poured two cups of wine. But before she handed one to A Miao, she took it back.
”I forgot that you are pregnant and can't drink.” She shook the glass. ”How about this? When my people arrive at the villa, you can tell me all the password digits but the last one. And before you give me the last digit and get out, I will tell you where Shen Xinglan is.”
”What if you don't let me go?” A Miao asked her with suspicion.
Xiao Mei smiled. ”What I want is the bronze mirror and jade pendant. It's useless for me to kill you. Moreover... Shen Xinglan does not love you now, which makes it even more pointless to do that.”
Sadness and anger flashed across A Miao's face. She heavily nodded. ”Alright!”
Xiao Mei's people went to Shen Xinglan's villa to find the safe. A Miao sat on the sofa, staring at the woman on the opposite.
”Why are you always looking at me?” Xiao Mei calmly asked A Miao, trying to cover up the excitement in her eyes.
”I am just curious why you have to get the bronze mirror and jade pendant.” A Miao frowned. ”Those are just some stuff passed down from old generations. You needn't have to go to these lengths even if they ARE valuable antiques.”
Xiao Mei sneered at her. ”You know nothing! Those are great ancient legacy.”
”Then it gets even stranger.” A Miao looked her straight in the face. ”Why are you the only one who knows? Shen Xinglan and Jiang Hua said nothing about the bronze mirror and jade pendant.”
”It has nothing to do with you.” Xiao Mei leaned against the sofa. ”Whatever. You don't have them.”
A Miao also smiled. ”Do you really think I am stupid? Why did my photos appear in that laboratory if it has nothing to do with me? Don't you know that boy who attacked Shen Xinglan? Or.. are you working for him?”
”Ha!” Xiao Mei said sarcastically. ”Do you believe anyone can give orders to my family? We are just cooperative partners.”
”How dare you should rob things from Shen Xinglan with others.” A Miao satirized her. ”Don't you like him? He will hate you for doing this.”
Xiao Mei raised her glass and said, ”You may rest assured. It won't be long before he's only in love with me.”
”What on earth do you want to do?” A Miao asked her curiously, ”are those things really some kind of treasures?”
”They are more than that!” Xiao Mei suddenly stopped and waved her hands, thinking she was saying too much. ”Why do you ask so many questions? It's none of your business.”
Xiao Mei's cell phone rang while she was speaking. She picked it up, listened to a few words and gave a satisfied smile. ”Alright, you did give us the right site. They have found the safe and you should tell me the password.”
”Nine...” said A Miao slowly.
The smile on Xiao Mei's face grew bigger. She was thrilled every time when she heard the correct sound ringing from her subordinates pressing down each button.
”One, two—one, six...” A Miao suddenly stopped.
Xiao Mei, who was immersed in her treasure fantasy, shot A Miao a glare. ”Why stop?”
”According to our pact, you should first tell me where Shen Xinglan is.”
Not until that moment did Xiao Mei find the password was almost to the end. When she was about to give A Miao a random hotel name with an impassive face, Xiao Mei heard some strange sounds from the other side pass and then just silence.
”What happened?” She questioned in a hurry.
Nothing but silence came from the other side.
”What's wrong? Tell me!”
Suddenly, a noise came from the outside. Xiao Mei raised up her head. But before she found out what was going on, the wine glass beside her broke into pieces after a shot.
”Be careful!” A bodyguard pounced up to protect her.
The sound of heavy gunfire followed immediately. Xiao Mei hardly dared to move under the sofa. The thunder of the guns gradually stopped two minutes later. Then Xiao Mei hurriedly stood up at the first time to find A Miao. If would be big trouble if A Miao died.

”Shen Xinglan?” she stared at the man standing beside A Miao, looking incredibly shocked.
A Miao was protected in the man's arms, smiling to Xiao Mei with her head out.
”You...” Xiao Mei was shocked and realized all the truth suddenly. ”You guys were messing with me?”
A Miao blinked her eyes innocently. ”Isn't that what you want? Posting those fake photos on the news to play me and Shen Xinglan against each other, and then tricking me into willingly giving you the bronze mirror and jade pendant.”

Shen Xinglan was highly nervous for a long time and even the knuckles of his hands turned white on A Miao's waist. He felt relaxed while listening to the words from his honey. The previous tension was suddenly eased a bit.
”You son of a bitch!” Xiao Mei wanted to rush at them but was caught in the arm by Shen I and Little Demon.
Shen Xinglan glared at her coldly. ”I have told you don't challenge my patience. Do you seriously believe that I can't kill you?”
Bang! Little Demon's shot grazed Xiao Mei's arm.
”Ah!” Xiao Mei covered her bloody arm. ”How dare you! Xiao family won't let you go.”
Shen Xinglan looked at her as if watching an idiot. ”What the hell is Xiao family? Do you really believe that they will offend all the killers for you? If they dare, then they shall prepare for endless revenge.”
”Don't try to scare me.” Xiao Mei tried to stomach the pain. ”If you dare to kill me, you won't wait until now!!!”
Little Demon took back her gun. She had already injured the other arm of Xiao Mei.
