28 Dinner at the Dining Hall (2/2)

”STOOOOP!”

having already given in to the cute creature in front of her, Ling Yue was interrupted by a loud voice coming from the side of Xiao Yao.

”W-wh-where do you think you are taking my Sofie!” The voice angrily sounded causing the nearby disciple, who were earlier charmed by Sofie's behaviour to look her way.

Yue Wan stood righteously with her head high in the air as she angrily looked towards Ling Yue like she had taken away something that belonged to her.

The surrounding disciples faces soon turned ugly especially the males. Yue Wan was especially known in the sect for her like towards cute things and girls were definitely cuter than boys. This had caused her to ignore all the male disciples while ”protecting” the female disciples from them.

The amount of relationship between disciples had therefore dropped since Yue Wan entered the sect, which caused the male disciples to hate her, as she always seemed to appear and interrupt them whenever they tried to confess to a female disciple.

The male disciples already in a relationship were happy they mustered up the courage to confess before the self-proclaimed ”protector of all cute things” appeared in the sect.

This time it seemed one of the new disciples were off the scales in cuteness, causing her to turn against girls as well… Sighing to themselves. Many of the male disciples lamented over their sad fate.

Hearing Yue Wan's voice, Ling Yue quickly glanced at her before questionably looking down at Sofie.

”S-she is living in the same house as me and Xiao Yao, a… roommate?” Sofie saw the questioning look on Ling Yue's face and quickly answered. Not completely sure what Yue Wan was considered.

”Ah, I see. You live together with Yao as well… Seeing as both your roommates are here. Let's eat together in the dining hall instead, as it is easier.” Saying so, Ling Yue moved towards the crowded entrance and entered with Sofie in tow.

Sofie, at the moment. Felt like she should have ignored the idiot interrupting her plan to get food.

Said idiot was happily smiling, as she entered the dining hall after Sofie and Ling Yue. Xiao Yao on the other hand let out small sigh at a certain someone's behaviour and quickly followed behind the slowly disappearing figures of Ling Yue and Sofie.

The inside of the dining hall was crowded, but Ling Yue still easily found an empty table with enough room for all four of them.

The way to get food was somewhat different compared to the morning, as you had to choose something on a menu and wait for a servant working for the sect to come with it.

”Did anyone here order the extra-large steak dinner menu?” A servant popped up, as he was carrying a large amount of food in his relatively small hands.

”ME!” Excited at finally seeing her food arrive, Sofie did not have time to admire how the servants managed to navigate in the busy dining hall.

The servant was a little shocked as he looked at the tiny figure of Sofie, but quickly recovered his smile and left the food in front of her before leaving the table.

Xiao Yao and Yue Wan looked shocked at Sofie devouring the meal in front of her at record speed.

How does all of that even fit inside of that tiny body?

”The portions around here are really small… Ling Yue, can I get more?” Sofie said as she stared at Ling Yue with shinning eyes.

”Hm? Of course, just eat as much as you can!” Ling Yue already used to Sofie's ability to eat a lot said gently as she returned to eating her own meal.

””HOW!””

A sound came from the side as both Xiao Yao and Yue Wan speechlessly asked at the same time.
