Xia Yu tried to withdraw her hand, but tried several times without success. Seeing that he had just fallen asleep, she did not really want to do that with strength.

She sighed helplessly and could only let him grab it. Now she could only lie down beside him to sleep. Xia Yu suspected that the man deliberately held her hand for that.

But as soon as thinking of what happened, Xia Yu sank into a bad mood. After thinking about it for a while, she couldn’t sleep.

After carefully thinking about the causes and consequences of the incident, she was even more sure that Shen Mo couldn’t be so stupid to assault her in broad daylight.

Xia Yu still felt something wrong but could not make sure. The more she thought the worse her headache became so she waved her head to force herself to stop thinking. Not long after she felt sleepy and fell asleep. When she woke up it was the day. In front of her, there was the handsome face of Shen Yan who stood close to her with his deep eyes gazing at her smiling.

“Good morning.” The slightly coarse voice, when flipped through the eardrum, was like a feather sweeping across, even one’s heart fluttering.

She was dumbfounded seeing Shen Yan the second she opened her sleepy eyes. She could still remember that the man came last night, crept into the bed to have a rest, but ended up staying until now.

“I was too sleepy last night. I had planned to have a nap and then left but didn’t wake up until this morning.”

Despite his explanation and his pretentious innocence, Xia Yu knew he didn’t incline to do that at all cause this man was literally a canny wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Xia Yu glared at him but didn’t uncover the lie. She lifted the quilt, got up and went to the bathroom.

Scarcely had she entered the bathroom when Shen Yan followed in, opened the cabinet, and grabbed a new toothbrush from within quite naturally.

“Don’t go out and stay in the room first.” Xia Yu said, because she did not want Second Brother to know Shen Yan was there.

He also understood the reason, so agreed.

After finishing washing, Xia Yu planned to let Shen Yan leave before Second Brother noticed. At this time, the door of Brother Second’s room opened.

“Xiao Yu, you’re up? You look great. I came back late yesterday and there’s one thing I forgot to tell you.” Second Brother looked at her carefully and said.

“What’s the matter?” Xia Yu thought it was something about work.

But Second Brother told Xia Yu, “Master is coming in a second.” Second Brother looked at his watch and said.

What? He would be there soon? Though she knew her father was coming, she didn’t expect he would come at this time when he would run into Shen Yan. Now it’s not only Second Brother but also her father whom Shen Yan must avoid sneaking away.

Xia Yu was thinking that and drifted off.

“What are you thinking about?”

Second Brother was so careful that a glance could tell Xia Yu was a bit strange.

She smiled and said she’s fine. Then she shifted the topic to her father so Second Brother didn’t keep asking.

“Okay, I’ll go and see if master is there.” Second Brother quickly changed his clothes and went out.

When Xia Yu saw that Second Brother had left, she hurried to the kitchen to cook noodles. She thought that Shen Yan should have time to eat before leaving.

“Xiao Yu, why are you cooking?” Second Brother might have forgotten something so he came back and happened to see Xia Yu cooking noodles in the kitchen, asking.

Xia Yu’s face was slightly red, and said, “I’m hungry, so I want to cook a bowl of noodles. Second Brother, mind your business and leave me alone.”

Seeing Xia Yu began eating, Second Brother smiled and said, “It’s a blessing to eat.” After that, he left the kitchen.

She took out an egg from the refrigerator, but when she was about to close it, she paused and took another one.

After cooking the noodles, Xia Yu went into her room holding the bowl. After pushing the door open, she saw Shen Yan on the phone. His voice was not high and was deliberately kept low. Even if she passed the door of the room, she could not hear him talking on the phone inside.

“Send the document to my e-mail, and please don’t call me if nothing happened.” After that, he hung up.

He smiled and looked at Xia Yu, then his gaze moved to the bowl that Xia Yu was holding. The smile on the corner of his mouth became brighter, and there was joy that could not be hidden between his eyebrows.

“Smells so good. Is it for me?” He said as he walked over, with his dark eyes full of smiles.

Xia Yu said yes and handed it over to him when he reached out his hand.

In fact, it’s just a bowl of plain noodles, with two gold fried eggs. It’s not that delicious, but the man who was used to eating sumptuous dishes kept praising the noodle as if it was rarely seen so that Xia Yu wanted to taste herself.

She looked away from his abdominal muscles, went to the closet, took out her pajamas, quickly entered the bathroom, closed the door and locked it.

When she took a breath, it was all the smell on Shen Yan around her, as if he was beside her at the moment. Xia Yu shook her head vigorously to shake off the beautiful images in her mind so as to stop imagining.

After taking a shower, her body’s heat had finally quelled. When the door was just opened and she was about to go out, she accidentally slipped and screamed.
