Since then, Xia Yu had to call Zhang Peng elder brother.

Shen Mo brought Xia Yu to a farm, where there was a quiet environment with idyllic scenery. There was also a pond not far ahead. Besides, the quack of ducks could be heard. A large vegetable garden was on the left while an orchard was on the right.

Xia Yu got out of the car with him and walked into the farm. But there was no one unexpectedly. ”No one is here. Why?”

Xia Yu asked with puzzlement. She thought that it shouldn't be so cold with no one in such a large farm with such a good environment. It was strange that there was even no staff.

”This farm was bought by me before.” Shen Mo said calmly.

When Xia Yu was woolgathering, Shen Mo began to give Xia Yu the first task. She immediately grunted assent. She was eager to visit the vegetable garden just when she saw it. As soon as she put down the bag, she went to the vegetable garden.

As she just arrived there, Shen Mo also followed up. His tall and straight body was dressed so casually today, and his simple white shirt and wide pants were dressed like the model style by him. In fact, it was so incompatible for him to stand in a vegetable garden with his dressing at this moment.

“What kind of food do you want to eat?” Xia Yu pointed to the vegetables in the garden and asked him.

”Be careful.” She heard a low voice in her ear. It was from Shen Mo. His help was really in time. Otherwise, Xia Yu must have fallen down painfully.

”Thank you.” Xia Yu turned her head and said to the man behind her. After she stood firm, the arms around her waist slowly moved away.

Xia Yu looked down on the ground and found a big yellow puppy which was squatting on the ground and looking at her with its tail wagging. It was approachable really.

”This puppy may belong to the former farm owner. And he didn't take it when he left.” Shen Mo said.

Xia Yu squatted down and reached out her hand to touch the head of the puppy. It was so obedient to her touch. A question appeared in her mind, so she asked the man next to her immediately. ”Who keeps it now?”

”Nobody. It's a stray dog.” Shen Mo said indifferently. He just threw a glance at the puppy and then turned his eyes away.

Xia Yu frowned with sympathy for the poor little thing. Even the vegetables on the ground could be nurtured by the rain. How could this poor little thing manage to live these days? She looked at the puppy which was licking her hands. ”I can bring it back and keep it.”

”Are you sure? Shen Yan doesn't like dogs.” Shen Mo looked at Xia Yu and said.

”Really?” Xia Yu asked.
