19 Episode 5- Name Tags (2/2)
Everyone headed back to Jackie's cabin. As they approached it, John looked at the tall wired fence.
”Woah” He said in amazement.
Carrie laughed. ”Yeah. She isn't playing around.”
Carley smiled. ”I'm just happy to find others.” She looked at all of them. ”One's that aren't dead.”
They laughed.
Jackie opened the gate. ”Took you long enough.” Her eyes met with John. She than looked at Carley. ”I see you brought new faces.”
”John is my uncle. He was taken a while ago.” Carrie said.
”Okay.” Jackie met John's eyes again.
”And I'm just the girl they found near the gas station. I promise I won't harm anyone!” Carley looked nervous.
”Well lets just get inside before any day walkers come lurking.” Jackie rushed them inside the fence before closing it. ”Dinner is about ready.” She walked to the cabin. ”Sit around the fire if you want while you wait.” She headed inside.
”Carley if you want I can show you the showers.” Carrie smiled at her.
Carley nodded. ”Please do”
They headed inside.
Mike sat next to the fire on the ground, pulling out some candy.
”Can I have one?” Ellis asked, sitting next to him.
Mike handed him a chocolate bar. ”That's all you get.”
”But I want some gum too!” Ellis fight with Mike over the candy.
Shawn and John laughed.
”It's good you see you again.” Shawn said looking at John.
John smiled. ”It's good to be seen.”
Shawn sighed.
”Hey, I know she'll be happy for you. I mean you are a good father. You watch over Ellis, Derek and Faith.” John smiled as he patted his shoulder.
Shawn clutched his fists.
”Shawn?” John looked confused.
”Faith...she's...she's dead John..” Shawn bite his lip. ”She died when she ran up to her dead mother.” Flashes of June biting into Faith. ”She didn't make it..”
John swallowed hard. This was his fault. He killed his wife and after that he helped kill his own best friends daughter. He looked around nervous. He knew he needed to leave.
”I'm going to go see what they are making.” Shawn walked inside the cabin.
John sighed. ”Shit..” Something than hit John's leg. He quickly looked around to see Finn standing on one of the sides of the cabin. He was signaling for John. He walked to him. ”What the hell do you want?”
Finn looked around. ”I thought you left?”
”I went with your dad. But I came back for Carrie.” John crossed his arms.
”Are you going to tell them about me?” Finn asked nervous.
John rolled his eyes. ”No. Your fine. I don't care weather they know or not.”
”Okay. Well I'll catch you later.” Finn walked away.
John leaned on the cabin. ”Moran.”
Ellis stood on the corner out of site of John. ”So it was true...” He walked away.
*Later that night*
Everyone was in bed. Except for John. He was wondering the cabin. ”Carrie..” He whispered in one room. He than saw her sleeping in her bed. He quietly went to her. ”Carrie..” He shook her.
She opened her eyes slowly. ”Hmm?”
”Get ready. We are leaving.” John looked around to make sure he didn't wake anyone.
”But..but why?” She yawned.
”Just get ready..” He ordered. ”Meet me outside when you are done.” He walked out quickly. Closing the door. He sighed. He knew he needed to leave before Joe saw him or some one finds out about him. He makes his way to the front door, grabbing his bag. He walks out.
Suddenly, someone pins him to the wall.
John looks at the person. ”You?”
Jackie smiled as she holds a gun to his chin. ”I remember you...”
He looks at her crazy. ”Do I know you?”
She laughs. ”You should.” She pulled her name tags out of her shirt. ”I was only a year under you but I knew way more than you could ever.”
He swallowed hard.
”Still don't remember me?” She smiled. ”Maybe this will jog your memory.” She pulled her shirt up a little until it met her under boob. ”See this?” A long scar went from her under boob to her belly button.
John's eye's widen.
She smiled big. ”I knew that would do it.” She put her shirt back. ”I remember everything about you. How you couldn't stand your brother or his wife. Or how they had a daughter that would never amount to nothing.” She dug her gun hard into his chin. ”I also remember you nagging about how you would one day make sure anyone that didn't understand your beliefs would pay the price!”
”And...and you did?” He looked at her scared.
She nodded. ”I'm going to make you pay for hurting me...and every one of my friends..”
