It was difficult to hide the disappointment in Yu Huan's eyes as she lowered her eyes. Her entire person was filled with sadness. Just as she was about to leave with the darkness of the night, her hands were grabbed by MingChe Xuan.

”They're keeping an eye on Little Huan'Er and not picking her up personally, what's the point of this?” Ming Che Xuan's eyes were filled with disdain as he tightly held onto Yu Huan's hand without loosening her grip.

Hei Ye turned his head and looked at him, saying in a deep voice, ”Young Master Ming, please don't be stubborn. My master is someone you can't afford to offend.”

Mingche coldly laughed, his eyes suppressing his displeasure, ”So what if I provoke him?”

”MingChe Xuan.” Yu Huan hurriedly called out to him. She secretly scanned the dark night and whispered, ”Let me go first. I'll come look for you another time.”

Little Huai'er, why are you still so stubborn? If he really cares about you, why would he send someone to pick you up? ”

”I was stubborn. Let go.” Yu Huan's face darkened, his eyes filled with warning. Chu Yufeng had yet to settle the score with them regarding the shadow. If this matter angered Chu Yufeng, it might not end well.

”You …” MingChe Xuan looked angrily at Yu Huan, but she didn't know how to persuade her.

”Alright, thank you for chatting with me. I need to go back.” She pulled her hand away from his and climbed into the dark.

There was a wave of depression in the car. She was silent, her face sullen. She did not speak in the dark. She could only hear the sound of the engine.

In the garden, Chu Yufeng was leaning against a tree with a knife in his hand. Several apples were hanging on the tree opposite him.

”Chu Yufeng...”

Before she could finish her sentence, she saw him quickly take out his knife. The knife flew out, and the apple hanging from the tree was instantly cut in half, falling to the ground.

She sized him up and was surprised to find that his expression was very strange, as if he was sulking with someone else.

She stood aside and did not move forward. He picked up another knife and quickly cut the apple into two until all the apples hanging on the tree were gone. Only then did he turn around and silently looked at her.

His eyes were deep and ancient, and it was unknown what he was thinking. However, from between his brows, one could easily see his displeasure. Was he angry?

The two of them quietly stared at each other without speaking. However, Yu Huan felt a sense of oppression from Chu Yufeng, which pressed down on her body, making her feel as if he couldn't breathe.

Her eyes twinkled as she raised her foot to leave, but before she could leave, he grabbed her wrist.

”Did you have fun?” His ice-cold, bone-piercing voice rang out. Although his tone was calm, one could feel the anger within it.

Yu Huan was stunned for a moment. With a mocking smile, she replied, ”Of course I'm happy when I play. What's there to be unhappy with when I'm with a friend?”

”Friend? ”Hehe.” He sneered with eyes full of contempt, ”Did I warn you not to get close to them?”

Yu Huan's eyes were filled with displeasure. She turned her face to Chu Yufeng and said, ”Didn't you say you didn't care about me? What now? ”Who are you showing that you're just pretending to be jealous?”

His words had obviously stung Chu Yufeng. He squeezed her wrist harder and harder, then fiercely pinched her chin and asked coldly, ”Yu Huan! Don't challenge my temper! ”

”So what? You want to hit me? ” Her voice was full of mockery, but her eyes were full of disappointment.

”You!” Chu Yufeng was so angry that he smiled and let her go. He questioned her coldly, ”What are you doing with Ming Che Xuan?”

Yu Huan couldn't help but rub her chin as she spoke with a cold smile, ”Men and women are together. What did you say you did?”

”Yu Huan!” Her cold eyes were full of warning.

”Then tell me, what should we have done? I'm also curious, what exactly did we do to make you so angry? ” She coldly questioned, her eyes unfathomable and yet filled with pain.

”He took your hand and walked along the path! ”Isn't it?”

”Since you already know, why are you still asking me?” Yu Huan didn't seem to care at all as she turned her face to the side. Her tone clearly carried a hint of anger.

He pressed his hand on her shoulder and asked in a deep voice, ”I can only walk along the small path with you, holding your hand. No other man can do it. Do you hear me?”

”Chu Yufeng, your possessiveness is really laughable.” ”I really don't understand. When I want you to be concerned about me, you should go and get intimate with other women. Right now, I'm just drinking tea and walking with other men. Your reaction is that huge. Chu Yufeng, what are you trying to do?”

”Are you jealous?” Chu Yufeng asked as he looked at her with his dark eyes.

”Yes, I do.” When she said this, her voice was choked with sobs, and her eyes were even filled with tears. She truly felt wronged in her heart.

He really couldn't put her in front of his eyes. Otherwise, it would be impossible for him to not pay attention to her, and when he thought about how he really had to give up on her, his heart felt like it was missing something.

However, she had only been gone for three hours, and he already couldn't take it anymore. What would he do if the world forever lost Yu Huan?

Her heart was filled with melancholy, but she still could not help but hold her in her arms.
