72 The Villiage of Bones (2/2)
”I hope you find this to your liking,” the grandpa says as he stood next to the entrance of the tent.
I nod my head and then turn to look at him. The girl is still eyeing Royal and I smiled to myself.
”Who is the girl behind you?” I finally ask.
A concerned expression flashes across the face of the Oldman before he clears his throat and motions with his hands for the girl to step forward. She obliges and steps forward to stand in front of me, her head down as she waited.
”This is my daughter, Lulu, is there something that she did to upset you?” He spoke quickly and rubbed his hands together nervously.
I glanced at the girl, before looking back at the grandpa.
”No, I think she cute. Do you mind if I borrow her for a bit?” I ask him.
His body shakes, but I give him a warm smile and the tension in his body lessens a bit. I wonder if he thought that I would do something evil to the young girl, that was a funny thought.
”If that would please you, I'm sure that my Daughter would be more than happy to keep you company, or whatever use you find for her,” he speaks softly with a slight bow.
The girl looks a little concerned, but I smile and grab her arm pulling her into the tent. The door opens easily and I shut up, cutting off the old man's line of sight.
”I'll have someone come and fetch you in a bit, there will be a great feast thrown in your honor Mistress,” there is a slight tremor in his voice as it sounds from the other side of the door.
”Very well,” I respond as I look around the tent.
It felt weird to call it a tent when it was more of a mini house, there was a fire that burned in the center of the room, that kept everything warm. There were about four dividers that are made out of sticks and cloth, they are beautiful.
Each of the dividers had something different in it. One divider had a sink like area, with a basin that had a glowing blue stone in it and a mirror that was a bit rustic, and then a toilet area, and a bathtub, that looks like it was made out of the skull of a monster.
Two of the other dividers were sleeping area, with a large number of pillows and furs that would be used as blankets and bedding. The last divider was a small desk like area, that had a crystal that hung in a delicate string that glowed a bright white.
This wasn't too shabby looks like these monster we're quite sophisticated. The rest of the tent was covered in a mat that was made of neatly polished wooden planks, I was rather impressed.
The young girl, Lulu was standing awkwardly where I'd left her. Envy was hoving around her, being an all-around creep.
”Leave her alone, Envy,” I snap at him. He gives her one last look before he flitted over to my side.
”Mistress, did you bring her in here so you could play with her. Oh, how naughty,” he chuckles and I punch him in the stomach. He crumples to the ground, a slight blush crawling over his face as he looks at me like a lovesick puppy.
Disgusting, I frown.
”Can you let me down now?” Igna, grumpy voice sounded and I looked down just remembering that I'd been carrying him the whole time. I open my arms and lower him to the ground. He looks at me and turns heading towards a pillow and grabbing it before he dragged it over and put it down next to Envy.
Crawling atop of it, he uses it like a thrown. His tentacle-like appendages falling around him, as he curls his tail around his front. I almost, laugh aloud at his mannerism, indeed quite befitting of a king.
”Now, give me back my Polymorph skill!” He demanded, and I raised an eyebrow looking at him. He wasn't serious, was he?
