63 A Witness to Dragon Slaying (1/2)
Not far away from the site of the battle between Alice and the Dragon, another group was approaching the area at a high speed, it was a pair, two men quickly blazed across the sandy desert.
One of them was gliding through the air with dark bloody red wings jutting out of his back, his hair was a light dirty blonde and he had a slight beard on his face. A pair of steel grey glasses rested on his face.
He wore a pair of suit pants and a white suit jacket with a black vest and a tie that hung undone underneath of the vest. He looked a lot like a messy businessman.
The other man was running along the ground, very mechanical like it looked inhuman that way he was running. Although he wasn't a human, he was a lot like the doll that Alice had come across in the restaurant or the two Valkyries that she'd seen when she first entered into the city.
Except on closer inspection, he had a very human face. His hair was a short black and he wore an eyepatch over his right eye, and a simple jacket with bandaged around his chest and black pants and boots.
A creepy smile played on his face, giving him an eerie vibe.
They covered the distance in a blink of an eye, except the man flying with the glasses stopped when he caught sight of the Dragon. He pushes the glasses up on his face and the image became clearer.
He made out a woman on the back of a huge deer like creature and a child sitting behind her. While he saw a huge black snake slithering in the bones of the Dragon, and another man atop the snake.
At the same time, the giant Bone Dragon slammed it's tail down into the ground and sent a wave of snake upwards towards the man and the snake on its body.
The man with the glasses gave a slight sigh as he watched that, thinking that the man and the snake would perish under the giant wave of sand. But to his surprise, the snake expanded and used it's own tail to slam into the wave of sand.
BOOM!
The sound could be heard for miles as the snake tail collided with the wave, it broke apart and the majority slammed backward and they only got pelted by half the wave of sand.
An infuriated roar left the Dragon's mouth, a surprised look passes over the man face as he watched the battle unfolding.
With the new found size of the snake, it coiled itself around the Bone Dragon, consuming more the jelly-like plasma that surrounded the Dragon's body.
Which resulted in a new found rage in the Dragon, with another violent rawr it threw it's head back and clawed it's way out of the dune and tried to take to the skies.
Its wings struggled to lift it off the ground with the additional weight of the snake. Taking advantage of its inhibited movement the man atop the snake, jumped from the top of the snakes head and swung the scythe in its hand towards one of the bone joints of the Dragon's wings.
The man scoffed at the movements but didn't take his attention off of the swing, he didn't think that the scythe would be able to cut through the tough bone of the Dragon. He was prepared to watch the scythe break in half at the attempt.
He'd been surprised at the snake but didn't think the man would pose much danger.
However, the smug pride was slapped off the face of the man as the scythe slide through the bone with a resounding sound, it was the same sound that happened when someone breaks a glass.
A crooked smile appeared on the man with glasses face as he witnesses that, an unearthly scream left the mouth of the Dragon. It threw caution to the wind and began to roll, cursing inwardly that it would kill these detestable human and snake.
But the snake quickly shrank down again and the man easily avoided the barrel roll that the Dragon tried to trap him in. At the same time the woman that was standing atop the deer, was holding a long spear in her hand.
