It happened in a flash Royal's body slammed through the sand as if it was nothing. Slithering forward he quickly cut his way through the tentacles that surged out to meet him, his maw opening to catch the ones that are aimed at his head.

His two long fangs pierced into the body of the tentacles and they began to wither until they broke apart from the body of the Dragon. The once-struggling Dragon turned its head to look at the foe that had appeared.

A sinister aura radiating off of its body, it wasn't expecting this to happen in the least.

Even though it looked like the two tentacles had just crumbled apart it wasn't that simple, it had withered because the magic that had been flowing into the tentacles had been eaten. Royal had sucked the energy from the tentacles resulting in them snapping apart.

This was something that was unacceptable to the Dragon when it had decided to follow it's prey it thought that it would be an easy enough kill. But now with the appearance of this big snake, it was having second thoughts.

It would seem it might take a bit more effort to crush these files that he'd chased after for so long, it was indeed a lazy Dragon, but it'd already given chase long ago it was unwilling to leave now. Standing firm that Dragon decided that it would see this through and kill these vermin.

Royal didn't waste any time has he kept moving forward his body like a knife as it sliced its way through the dunes. A black substance leaks out from his body and coated the ground as he surged forward.

That was new, I thought to myself and I watched him out of the corner of my eye as I ran towards Callista, who was defending against the tentacles with her shield. It rippled each time a tentacle hit the shield, it also caused the shields color to waver a bit as it took more and more hits.

They rammed against the shield and knocked her back, I could see her legs shaking. That wasn't good, it didn't seem like she could hold out much longer.

Even though the Dragon was distracted by Royal didn't mean that it wasn't paying attention to the rest of the battle, as I ran across the sandy dunes tentacles shot out towards me, I dodged a couple.

I flicked my finger and drew another weapon from my ring since Envy had taken my weapon, this time I pulled out a spear. Ever since, remembering a bit about my past a lot of knowledge and information about weapon had surfaced in my mind.

Twisting the spear in my hand, I swept it through the four incoming tentacles serving them, not wasting any time I keep my beeline for Callista. She'd noticed my approach and was heading my way, slowly because she was getting pinned down by tentacles.

Where in the hell was Envy!

Ever since he'd taken my weapon, he'd vanished it was if he turned into nothing more than air.

Twisting to the right, I use my spear to vault myself over a tentacle that had come from my blind spot, I land on my feet a couple feet back from where I was standing and a crater was right where I had been not even moment ago.

This Dragon wasn't playing around, I could feel the bloodlust radiating off of each of the tentacles that surged towards us. It wanted nothing more than to crush up into a paste.

At this point, Royal's body was wrapped around the bony exterior of the dragon that was trying to use its tentacles to rid him from his body. But it wasn't working Royal had shrunk himself to easily slide around and over the bones, the black substance was slowly coating the Dragon.
