21 God of Death (2/2)

Turning around, I look for the sword that had lost. Seeing it, I move towards it and pick it up, I move my way back towards the Minotaur. Watching him burn had been fun, but he'd stopped screaming a bit ago and it was starting to become boring.

Feeling a crazy urge well in my body, I swing the sword downwards aiming for his remaining hand, I'd cleaved it clean off. The sword easily slides through his hand, it was like cutting butter, I didn't even flinch when the blood sprayed across my face.

It was easily evaporated by the heat of the flames.

A bellow of pain and rage erupted from his mouth. It only lasts for a couple seconds, before I slammed my foot down on his head, pressing him down further into the fire, that was starting to heat up even more.

The sound of sobbing entered into the air, after a moment. He was crying?

”Hehehehe...” I couldn't stop a laugh from bubbling up from my throat. I covered my face with a hand, trying to stop the laughter but it didn't go anywhere.

”Demon... you're no human...” The Minotaur chocked out, his breathing was labored and his flesh was starting to really melt at this point, half of his jaw bone was exposed and the tear poured out of his mangled eyes.

The skeleton slammed a hand down onto his leg, causing a strangled cry to fall out of his mouth. Smiling, I bend downwards and grab at this head, lifting it upwards.

”If you attack someone you should expect them to fight back, besides aren't you the monster here?” I asked tilting my head and giving a small smile.

”De-” Before he could finish, I drew the blade over his throat, almost cutting his head completely off. His body convulsed for a bit, but it ended quite quickly. He'd already lost to much blood and had been burned badly.

A pity, standing up, I press a hand to my blade that now covered in its blood. A flame spreads across the blade eating up the blood.

What a foolish monster, I thought to myself.

”M-may...I eat...it miss-mistress?” The skeleton chattered out, as it looked down at the Minotaur with hungry eyes. Casting a glance at the slightly charred and burned body, I give a curt nod of my head.

With glowing black eyes, the skeleton falls onto the Minotaur and devours him whole, it was a bit disgusting to watch.

In a matter of minutes, it'd consumed the hulking body of the Minotaur, the skeleton slowly started to grow muscles and viscera. Only up to about its lower body, it had the lower body of a man.

It seemed there wasn't enough flesh and matter left, so it could only barely form enough to coat it's lower body to about its hip in muscle. With a bow from the skeleton, I felt the power in my body wane.

As quickly as I had obtained power, I also felt it quickly start to drain. My vision swam a bit, then I started to feel my body topple over. Hitting the ground, I felt my world go dark.
