However, once Mingyue heard his question, her eyes went wide. She did not think that their meeting would end so fast!

Although they simply ate and did not do anything, or had any important conversation, Mingyue found out that she really enjoyed Yang Yun's company.

Moreover, Mingyue still had a few questions she wanted to ask him.

”I won't be returning to my parents; house,” Mingyue said.

”Then… you will return to the hospital?” Yang Yun frowned. He recalled that the last time he was hospitalized, Mingyue said that she had to overnight in the hospital due to her work. ”Do you still have work to do?”

”No,” Lin Mingyue touched her nose. ”I usually live in an apartment near the hospital. Due to my work, it would be hard to go back and forth to my parents' place. So, I rented a place. It's just within walking distance.”

There was a slight frown on Yang Yun's face. He had not heard anything about this from Xue Yi Ming. However, once he noticed that he had a chance to spend time with her, Yang Yun's face brightened. ”Then, I will walk you home.”

”Good,” Lin Mingyue nodded.

The two of them walked side by side in silence. Both were deep in their thought.

Yang Yun was happy that he got to spend more time with his wife. However, he had to suppress his thought around her as Yang Yun was afraid that he might frighten Mingyue if he made an unexpected move.

Lin Mingyue was trying to figure out her thoughts on Yang Yun and everything that had changed around her ever since she met him.

She remembered the first time she saw him in the Emergency Room. Her heart throbbed in pain, and she found it hard to breathe. Sometimes, Mingyue could still feel the pain in her chest.

However, these days, looking at Yang Yun would make her heart leap in joy. Even Lin Mingyue did not understand why she felt that way. Looking at his face in front of her, caused her heart to beat faster. Mingyue felt a bit dizzy as her blood would rush to her head too quickly.

Lin Mingyue was not sure what she felt towards Yang Yun. She did not know him for too long. In the past, Mingyue had a few admirers, but no one gave her the same feeling that Yang Yun gave her. She was not sure of what was her thought and feeling towards Yang Yun.

Could it be that her sister was right? Could it be that she was into Yang Yun?

Her face felt hot at the thought.

At this time, Lin Mingyue was glad that it was dark at night or else, she might die from embarrassment if Yang Yun noticed her red face.

Mingyue rubbed her hands together in an attempt to warm herself. She stuffed her hands into her pocket and turned to Yang Yun. ”It has been a few months since you arrived in this city. How is it? Have you gotten used to the city?”

”It's alright. Xue Yi Ming taught me this and that. I think I have gotten used living in this city,” Yang Yun answered. He lowered his head as he thought of his home.

”That's good to hear. If you run into any problem, you can find me, and I'll help you. After all, we can be considered friends, right?”
