When Lin Mingyue and her sister came out of their tent, the boys have almost finished cooking. Mingyue peeked at the food and saw some grilled fish on the banana leaves, some fruits, and snacks. The smell of grilled fish got stronger as Mingyue walked closer. Her stomach started to growl.

”You girls are hungry?” Xue Yi Ming asked. His lips curved into a smile when the girls nodded. He then handed one portion of the fish to Lin Tian Yu and another to Lin Mingyue which Yang Yun had prepared separately.

”Where is Yang Yun?” Mingyue had long noticed his disappearance. Only Xue Yi Ming and Yu Yong Zhe had stayed around the fire.

”He and Li Ran went to distribute some food. Right, they have been gone for a while now.”

”I'll go and look for them,” Mingyue volunteered.

”No. You just stay here,” Xue Yi Ming stopped her before Mingyue made any move. ”You're not familiar with this place. What if you got lost? Don't worry. They will come back soon.”

Two minutes later, Yang Yun and Li Ran returned, carrying a few bunches of snacks and tidbit. Once MIngyue saw their return, she let out a breath of relief.

”Those guys were too happy to receive hot meals, they won't let us go back without taking these,” Li Ran explained. He put down the snacks on the ground and picked up a bar of chocolate.

”We've chatted with the others for a while. They came from Y City and seemed like a fan of hiking. The group has been doing this for years. They would at least go on a hiking trip once every two months.” Yang Yun said. He glanced at the grilled fish and turned to both Lin's sister. ”How does it taste?”

”It's good!” Lin Tian Yu gave a thumbs up. ”I thought we were going to survive with dried food for lunch. Who knows we would have some fresh, juicy fish. Right, I did not see you guys bring along some fishing rod.”

Xue Yi Ming chuckled. ”Yang Yun caught them barehanded.” He had a smug smile on his face as if he was proud of Yang Yun's ability.

Lin Tian Yu looked at the fishes. There were one for each of them. Earlier, Xue Yi Ming had said that they went to share some of those fish with the other campers. Just how many fish had this guy caught? And he actually caught them barehanded?

Yang Yun glanced at Mingyue and noticed that she had not taken a bite of her fish. ”Why aren't you eating? It doesn't taste good?”

Earlier, Yang Yun had sprinkled the medicine that Chief Ye had sent. He was worried Mingyue might have detected something from the food he had prepared.

”She didn't have an appetite when she noticed you were not around,” Xue Yi Ming said. Instantly, he received a stern gaze from Mingyue. Xue Yi Ming cleared his throat and continued, ”Anyway, food can only taste delicious when it was eaten together.” He picked up the fish and distributed them to Yang Yun and Li Ran.

”You don't listen to Brother Xue,” Lin Mingyue said as she looked at Yang Yun. ”The fish was too hot, and I'm just letting it cool down a little bit.” Mingyue lowered his head and ate silently.

”Right, what are you guys planning to do later?” Yu Yong Zhe questioned. ”Let's go play in the water.”
