120 A Dream (1/2)
In Yang Yun's dream, Mingyue appeared vividly in front of him. In this dream, the two of them were walking in the mountain early in the morning. Mingyue was gathering herbs like she always does, and Yang Yun was accompanying her. They walked side by side, holding hands.
For a second, Mingyue turned to look at him. Her head blocked away from the sunlight, but he could see her smiling face clearly. The wind blew softly, and with her free hand, Mingyue tucked her hair behind her ear. She seemed to be saying something, but Yang Yun could not hear her voice.
The sky turned darker suddenly.
Mingyue turned to look at the sky. When she looked at him again, there was horror in her expression. Abruptly, Yang Yun could feel a force trying to pull his wife away from him. Yang Yun tightened up his grip around Mingyue's wrist.
This time, he will not let her go!
However, the force was too strong. Mingyue fell backward, pulling him along with her. All of a sudden, they fell into deep water. He tried to swim up and failed. But he could only feel something pressing on his chest, causing him to have difficulties in breathing. Yang Yun looked at his wife in panic. At this time, Mingyue opened her mouth and screamed.
”Yang Yun!”
His body jerked up. Yang Yun looked around with labored breathing. When he could not see Mingyue, he started to panic.
”Yang Yun!”
Hearing someone calling up his name, Yang Yun immediately sobered up. His gaze roamed around. It was then that he realized that he was back in his room in Yang's mansion.
Yang Yun gasped as he felt someone touching his leg. His gaze met with his mother's worried face.
”What's wrong with you? Another nightmare?” His mother, Liu Qing Xin, asked. She touched her son's forehead before she moved to pick up a black cat, sitting on Yang Yun's chest.
Yang Yun stared at Xiao Mi who nestled in his mother's arms.
This damn cat! No wonder he was suffocated in his dream!
As if sensing Yang Yun's enmity, Xiao Mi turned to Yang Yun and meowed. The look on his face showed as if he had not done anything wrong. Xiao Mi blinked once, jumped off Liu Qing Xin's embrace and walked out the room.
”Are you alright?” Liu Qing Xin sat down beside her son. Her gaze softened as she watched him.
Yang Yun turned to her mother and smiled. ”I'm alright. Just the same old dream.”
