”It's good that he is willing to trust me to take care of this rescue mission,” Yang Yun said. ”If I can complete the task properly, the general will have his trust in me a little bit more.”

Mingyue let out a soft sigh. She knew what Yang Yun was trying to say.

Among her brothers, her elder brother was the one who doted on her the most. But when Yang Yun and her started dating, he was the one who was against them the most.

Not because he did not like Yang Yun, but because he was concerned about her. Her brother was worried that Yang Yun would bully her and make her unhappy. Knowing the nature of his job, he was afraid that someday, he would make her sad.
