”But you didn't help her?”

Yang Yun shook his head. ”It's too troublesome.”

”Troublesome?”

A glint flashed through his eyes as he wondered why she was asking him about the girls. ”It would be bad if anyone misunderstands my help.”

”How can returning a handkerchief cause any misunderstanding?”

Yang Yun gave her a look and pinched her nose. He smiled when she frowned at his action. ”Anyhow, it doesn't concern me. It's just a handkerchief.”

Mingyue smiled. How can she not understand Yang Yun's meaning?

She stared at him starry-eyed. ”Yang Yun! What should I do? You're too handsome. This is why the girls tried to get your attention.”

Yang Yun grasped her hand tightly in his. ”What else you can do? You have to stay by my side closely so that no one will get any ideas.”

He laughed, watching a smile bloom on her lips. Then, he reached for the lunch box she was carrying into his hand. ”You're going to grandpa's place?”

Mingyue nodded. She watched him carried her stuff in one hand and grabbed her hand with his other hand. His hand slid to her palm and their fingers intertwined as they continued walking towards her destination.
