Chapter 793 - Petty Tricks (1/2)

Without hesitation, Weapon Ancestor contacted the magnates of the Zhu Shi Celestial Race and had them send the army after Zhong Yue and the others.

"The army will not make it in time."

Royal Prince Wen Chang's eyes blinked and suddenly, he charged forward right after Zhong Yue and the others, "We will move one step ahead and stall them!"

Weapon Ancestor follows suit and he said, "Your Highness, you are a royal prince, you shouldn't involve yourself in such dangerous situations!"

Royal Prince Wen Chang replied, "Then you've underestimated me. I may be a royal prince that was born with a golden spoon but my father is a Heavenly Monarch that walked a path filled with blood. Unlike those that merely inherited their ancestors' wealth, our family is one acquired it over a mountain of corpses! Besides, the heavenly generals beside me are not ordinary."

"Your Highness, all we have to do is stall them, not fight with our lives on the line like a gamble." added the worried Weapon Ancestor.

Royal Prince Wen Chang led his men forward and said, "Don't worry, I will pull myself out from this mess as soon as your Zhu Shi Celestial Race's army arrives. Weapon Ancestor, I heard that you can turn into all kinds of divine weapons that possess various abilities, may I?"

Weapon Ancestor replied seriously, "It will be my honor to be your sword."

"Good!"

Royal Prince Wen Chang laughed happily and a long silk cloth flew out from his six light wheels. The thin silk then flew forward, jumping across the dimension like a rainbow and hung at one end to another end in this dimension.

He then got up to the silk along with Weapon Ancestor and the heavenly generals; when they arrived at the other end of the silk, they were already right behind Zhong Yue and the others.

The Weapon Ancestor was completely dumbfounded and awestruck by this, The Heavenly Monarch family really has a lot of precious items….

Royal Prince Wen Chang then kept the silk away and continued chasing after Zhong Yue and the others who were not far away.

In front of them, Bo Di fluttered his wings quickly and he flew as fast as he could, but flying was after all, weaker than the long cloth that could leap across the void.

"Mister Yi! There's someone on our tail!" Dong Ah shouted.

Zhong Yue, on the other hand, had already noticed the long cloth behind them and with a swing of his finger in the air, thunder and lightning formed in the void and they shot towards the direction his finger pointed. The thunder cracked the skies open and the lightning lit up the skies. In just an instant, a raging ocean made of thunder and lightning formed in between them and Royal Prince Wen Chang.

Dong Ah and the others were amazed by this; though they were able to do this as well, the types of thunder and lightning within the ocean Zhong Yue created was almost infinite. The Pure Yang Thunder and Lightning were just the most basic among all and there were even innate thunder lightning!

Apart from that, the lightning in the ocean came in various forms; there were mountains, trees, flowers, waves, and even massive whales and fish!

Barely any gods could manage to pull this off. Perhaps, those pureblood gods from the Leizhe Celestial Race were able to do this, but Zhong Yue was obviously not one of them, so it was amazing that he could pull this off easily.

Behind them, Royal Prince Wen Chang grinned mockingly and he gave an order, "Puny tricks! Chu Yanbing, destroy his lightning ocean and show him the power of the servants from the Heavenly Monarch Family!"

A heavenly general beside him nodded and shouted loudly before his speed increased tremendously; after a few steps, he lowered his entire body onto the ground as his hands and legs turned into toad's limbs. In just a blink of an eye, an emerald-eyed jade toad appeared. With each leap, he got closer and closer to the ocean before he opened his mouth and sucked the lightning ocean away.

With a gigantic mouth, this emerald-eyed jade toad possessed the ability to swallow the skies and the massive lightning ocean shrunk rapidly as it was being sucked into the toad's mouth!

In just a few seconds, this heavenly general had completely swallowed the lightning ocean and he even burped!

"How pathetic."

Royal Prince Wen Chang sneered but his expression quickly froze. As he was mocking Zhong Yue, the toad's eyes lost focus and his pupils widened horrifically before his body expanded. The toad's stomach bloated before it exploded into pieces like a balloon, releasing all the lightning that it swallowed!

On the back of Bo Di, Zhong Yue turned around and smiled, "Is that all?"

Royal Prince Wen Chang's expression did not look good at all and he retaliated by swinging his sleeves. The sleeves enlarged visibly and wrapped around the lightning ocean like a gigantic serpent, absorbing the lightning ocean.

In just a second, the lightning ocean disappeared without a sign in his sleeves!

"Hmph! Fools!" said Royal Prince Wen Chang coldly.

In his sleeves, raging lightning roared, and after a moment, the thunder roars could no longer be heard. But at the same time, Zhong Yue and the others were already out from their vicinity and they couldn't even hear it.

Royal Prince Wen Chang gave chase quickly and in no time, they caught up again and this time, he taunted, "Is the reincarnated innate god a coward? Is he afraid of fighting a non-innate god like myself?"

Zhong Yue laughed and replied, "If I am stalled by Your Highness, the Zhu Shi Celestial Race's army will arrive in no time. Your Highness' life is a puny one and your life is not even as valuable as mine!"

Royal Prince Wen Chang sneered, "You are just a human!"

"Wrong! I am an innate god!"

With a simple finger flicker, another thunder lightning ocean emerged in between them and Zhong Yue said, "No matter how honorable and precious a Heavenly Monarch's child is, their lives will never be as precious as mine!"
