1298 Seeing the Angel of Fear Again Part 1 (1/2)
”Saleen, we agreed on this earlier. There is still one more warehouse!” Inbosa glared furiously.
”Let's talk about it again after we go back up.” Saleen did not refute him. In the current situation, who knew what the battle was like. His perception had been compressed within the warehouse. It was just the situation on the surface. The Bug Angel army was most likely facing difficulty in receiving aid from Floating City. Within an hour, he estimated that most of them had been lost.
If they did not go, would they have to wait until all of them were lost before giving up?
The Bug Angel Warriors all had an extremely high value. Their combat ability was much greater than that of the Holy See's Blood Knights.
Inbosa huffed and allowed Saleen to step up first. The two left the underground warehouse and were able to see the ground's surface. Grand Duke Iron Blood's people had gathered in an orderly fashion by his side.
”Inbosa, we can't search for it anymore. We have already lost a third of our army!” Grand Duke Iron Blood urged Inbosa.
”Duke, let me go and search for it. I will bring my own people!” Inbosa persisted.
”Alright, I will go with you as agreed on before. We will go for half an hour. If the army's losses exceed half, then we will have to stop.” Grand Duke Iron Blood said.
Inbosa nodded in gratitude and glanced at Saleen. Saleen said, ”I'll give you half an hour.”
After arriving at the surface, his territory had expanded once more and was impacted by the city territory's attacks. Saleen's understanding towards the territory had become even deeper. He was able to contact Nailisi. On Nailisi's side, Sika was about to leave.
”Let her go up to Floating City and bring away all of our Bug Angel Warriors.” Saleen gave this order to Nailisi and felt slightly more relaxed.
Inbosa took the lead. He stepped on his metal flyers and sped along the streets. Grand Duke Iron Blood followed closely behind him. Saleen followed behind using Jalin's movement skills.
The smell of blood in the city was thick, causing Saleen to feel extremely uncomfortable. The blood in the air came from the Bug Angel Warriors, as well as Alchemy City's mages. Of more than 20,000 Bug Angels, more than 5,000 had died. Even more of Alchemy City's mages had died. After all, not just anybody was able to own a magical tower. The mages lived in tall buildings that were clustered together. After the Bug Angels drilled through them, the entire building had been adversely affected.
Only the mages who could fly were able to escape. However, there had been many Bug Angels wildly releasing wind blades in the sky.
The magical towers' counterattack had been swift, fierce, and powerful, but the Bug Angels' defense abilities were too strong and their flight was too fast, so it was difficult to aim at them. After the Elemental Hand's nine grand mages had summoned the archangel, the situation had become even worse.
The archangel had brought out hundreds of metal angels and started a massacre inside the city.
The archangel had wanted to leave, but under the orders of the Elemental Hand's elders, she had been intercepted and attacked by mages.
The archangel was about level 13, but she could not fly high within the city territory. She did not give up on the metal angels subordinates and did not want to leave alone.
There had been one person who was an exception. Nailisi held on to Sika and flew up from the ground. Sika's soul beasts had all been put away and she had to rely on Nailisi to fly, which made her feel extremely strange.
Nailisi had regained her imp form and her tail was wrapped around Sika's body. The two stuck together tightly. Nailisi's Lightning Protection skill had been released, so they were encased by a blue electric current.
Sika felt that her entire body had gone limp and numb. Even if she was a nature priest, her resistance against such electric currents was not very strong.
It was thanks to the power of this electric current that Nailisi had broken through the restraints of the city territory and directly went up to a high altitude, flying towards Floating City. The nine great elders were all focused on the battle to surround and attack the archangel, and unexpectedly, none of them discovered that someone was flying.
Everyone trusted in the city territory too much. They thought that there would never be a person who could break through to the outside from within the city territory.
The archangel felt that her power was being forcefully suppressed within the territory and felt extremely uncomfortable. A metallic glow started to flash upon her pure white skin. It was the first time such an incident had occurred ever since she had attained the true power of life.
”Damn it. This is the Myers Continent?” The archangel looked all around, but felt that things were not right.
How could the mages on the Myers Continent have become so pitiful! The mages who had besieged the metal angels mostly released level 7 magic spells. There were some level 9 spells, and level 10 magic spells that were rare.
Wasn't it said that the mages of Myers Continent all used level 10 magic spells as a sign of attack?
If this place was not the Myers Continent, how could the rules of this plane have such an obvious level of suppression upon her?
The archangel forcefully took fight, observing the surroundings. She saw the broken walls and ruins and mages fighting with the Bug Angels as well as Alchemy City's army.
Really weak...
Hm? Were those Bug Angels?
