Chapter 45 - Super Saiyan At Last! (1/2)

Pikkon was obviously no match for Kayn, so the battle ended with his defeat. Of course, Kayn allowed Pikkon to use all of his signature skills. The first thing Pikkon did was use his [Inferno Assault], this was a move he used on Cell when he first met him.

However, once he punched and Kicked Kayn, he found that his attacks didn't phase Kayn. It was like Kayn's body was made out of steel. Kayn punched at him, but Pikkon blocked it by crossing his arms over his c.h.e.s.t.

This attack nearly broke his arms as he was sent nearly flying out of the arena. Pikkon got serious and used [Hyper Tornado] to attack. Kayn was caught in the Tornado and swung around in it, but he didn't take any damage.

After Kayn got ahold of himself, he went up the tornado and out of it and rammed his head into Pikkon's stomach. Pikkon was sent flying through several meteors before he came to a stop.

Afterward, he appeared back on the tournament stage, still having suffered from Kayn's headbutt.

The West Kai wasn't looking so good seeing Pikkon's situation.

Pikkon obviously had to use his ultimate move at this point. He did his stance or dance to perform the [Thunder Flash Technique]. His power level shot up because of the charge and Ki output of this attack.

The attack had engulfed Kayn, well, it seemed like it did, but Kayn did the same thing Goku did to defeat Pikkon. He used instant transmission with a Kamahahmeha to win. Kayn wasn't sure how this would affect Goku later when he fought Pikkon; if he were to die that is.

At this point, Kayn became the winner and shook hands with Pikkon on a good fight. He heard the notification, but his strength was nothing in the face of those real top fighters, he could win easily now, but it wasn't over at all.

Everything went back to normal, but Kayn had not collected his rewards yet. Bardock and Gine wanted to train with King Kai for at least 2 or 3 years before leaving. There was no way Kayn was staying that long, so he told him that once he left he would pick them up when they were ready to leave.

However, King Kai said he would just have someone drop them off when they were ready to leave. King Kai decided that he would stay on the Grand Kai's planet for a bit before leaving.

Kayn went to his room, but Bardock and Gine started their training right away. After he was done opening his gifts, Kayn wanted to guide Bardock on his Super Saiyan form. The gifts were already given to him, so there was nothing to open.

Kayn wanted to buy the storage for the system, but it cost exactly 1 million system points to purchase. However, it was something that was worth it since it could hold an infinite amount of things.

Before he started his personal training, he went back to the grassy field where other fighters were training. This including Gine and Bardock, and even Pikkon who was with West Kai in another area of this field.

As usual; they were training with weights, but they trained with heavier ones this time. Gine wanted to go Super Saiyan, but no matter how much she asked Bardock he couldn't tell her anything on how he did it.

Kayn watched the fight between Torbie and Bardock, so he could see the rage in Bardock's face at that time. At first, he thought Bardock was mad because he was losing, but when he heard his words about Frieza he knew he was wrong.

Kayn told him to recall that moment when Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta and killed him. How his people had to suffer for years and died for pretty much nothing. Even now, Raditz was suffering at Frieza's hand, but he was still no match for Frieza now.

The use of great emotion, typically anger and rage could awaken these forms. Of course, S-cell could as well but he didn't think the spine method would work on Bardock as it did for the Universe 6 Saiyans who were very qualified to go Super Saiyan and beyond.

Bardock recalled many moments and his dealing with Frieza's henchmen. Mainly Zarbon, he hated this guy the most when compared to the other henchmen. And sure enough, angered started to fuel Bardock again.

Eventually, he was able to go Super Saiyan again. He asked King Kai if he could help him with this transformation at this point. Bardock tried to maintain the form and he did, he started messing around with his new Super Saiyan under King Kai and Kayn's guidance.
