Chapter 60 (2/2)
“Bang!”
As Ji Anning pondered, that participant fired yet another shot, drawing her attention.
He was aiming for a small tomato this time but missed.
Before she could secretly revel in joy, the employee smiled and said to her, “Miss, there’s still two and a half minutes. If you want to give it a try, then fill in your particulars over there with your name and phone number.”
“Okay,” without hesitation, Ji Anning nodded her head. She walked over immediately, taking merely two to three seconds to fill in her particulars in the notebook.
Then she stood in front of the video game, grabbing the M200 sniper gun and feeling a little exhilarated.
The simulated distance of the targets, which were the fruits on the screen, was 100 meters. They were 100 meters away from her in reality.
It was all computer-generated. When she aimed, it pulled them closer. But fruits like the little red tomatoes and tiny green apples were challenging nonetheless.
“Can this girl shoot too?”
“It doesn’t matter whether she does. There are only a few more minutes left, and there’s no way she outdoes the previous participant.”
The onlookers around them felt a winner already emerged.
At first, Ji Anning fired rather quickly, but the fruits gradually became smaller and smaller.
The time it took to aim, and fire became increasingly longer.
As time lapsed, it got progressively trickier. If she wanted to win, she had to finish shooting all the remaining eleven of them within 40 seconds. She felt that the odds were almost impossible.
